Such a lovely Place, very homely and in a great location not far from the town, nice and close to the train station but not disruptive at all. What a lovely host Mary was, she was very kind and very helpful. Definitely would recommend this beautiful place. Thank you Mary for a pleasant stay.

Mary could not have been kinder or more friendly to us. She was a terrific help with local advice , places to go and with understanding the train service. It’s true, the train Station is 2 minutes from the apartment , and a very good way to get into Dublin and avoid parking worries! There was a brilliant starter food package, everything we needed on arrival, so no need to stock up on the way. Mary was kind enough to send on my husbands walking stick which we had left behind the front door curtain. Can’t praise this comfortable holiday home enough.

It was such a treat to stay at Mary's place - it felt like a real home away from home. Mary is incredibly welcoming and helpful and she makes sure that the accommodation is full of everything you need for a short or long stay. I really appreciated all the little thoughtful touches, like welcome provisions and a hot water bottle (and electric blanket) for people like me who get cold. The house is in a great location, right near the train station and an easy walk into Skerries town. Many thanks to Mary for such a nice stay, would definitely recommend.

I booked Mary's place for a place for my parents to stay as my house is not big enough to hold them for an extended visit. Honestly, I cannot state how fantastic Mary's guest accommodation is. The location is perfect, especially if you want access to the train to get into Dublin (or anywhere North/South on the Dublin train line) as the train station is literally 30 seconds from the door. Strangely, even though Mary's place is so close to the train station, my parents never actually heard the train, it's not disruptive. As well as being train convenient, the cottage is in a great location to the town of Skerries. My parents had no issue with popping into the town on foot to get coffee or anything else they wanted- it's a super easy, short stroll (took my mom and dad maybe 5 minutes at most and they are 75 & 76). My mom remarked how incredibly clean and comfortable Mary's place is (she has high standards), noting many times how comfortable the bed was. Finally, Mary herself is an incredibly warm and thoughtful host. Available for anything but not overbearing or intrusive- she manages to balance it right. I will continue to book Mary's place and will be happy to suggest/recommend it to anyone.

This is a really lovely place to stay , Sparkling clean , very comfy and lovely welcome provisions Mary is a lovely host and helped us with good directions for our trip to Dublin . The train station is 5 mins away so Was easy to get around . skerries is a lovely little coastal village , cute harbour , and lovely walks

Die Wohnung liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Bahnhof und ist dennoch sehr ruhig. Optimal um per Bahn nach Dublin zu fahren. Der Ort bietet zudem zahlreiche Ausgehmöglichkeiten - Tipps dazu gibt's von Mary - sowie einen langen Sandstrand mit Promenade.Sehr zu empfehlen!

Mycket bra boende och trevlig värdinna. Nära till byn samt nära till mänga trevliga golfbanor. Skerries golfbana var mycket bra och trevlig att spela. Tågstationen ligger oxå bra till för resa till Dublin

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Urlaub in Irland - vor allem auch wegen dieser gemütlichen Ferienwohnung. Mary hat uns herzlich begrüßt und uns Proviant für den ersten Abend bereitgestellt. Die Ferienwohnung liegt in einer sehr gemütlichen Hafenstadt mit einem tollen Strand und sehr netten Menschen. Fantastic location. Amazing welcome with lovely range of essentials in the kitchen. Spotlessly clean. We walked everywhere, fish and chips on the beach, fantastic tour of the restored windmills and lots of great places to eat and drink. We are planning our next trip.

I cannot fault this place, had everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable and what a great host, thanks Mary. I also have to say that I have been in many showers when I have been away (you will be relieved to know) and this has to be the best shower and great if you wanted to burst out a vocal 🙂
