House Rental
When you visit the Lemon Lodge at Camp Wonder Wander nature immersion creativity retreat center, you will have fresh air and space to enjoy your friends and family. This is a rural setting amidst the rolling hills of the Western Highland Rim region of mid-south Tennessee where farms are our neighbors. The house is creatively decorated and features a roomy kitchen with gas stove. You can grill out and enjoy time by the fire pit. Ask about our Forest Therapy guided sessions that will take you on a sensory immersion to go slow on our 12 acre campground which borders the Buffalo River. Ask about our kayak rental and transport services. The scenery and skies are lovely all year round while the camp donkeys will love a visit for pets.

Primarily rule number one is NO SHOES INSIDE. No smoking or drugs. We recycle and compost so please ask how to separate your trash if the directions aren't clear. No screaming or other harassment of the animals. Must get permission to be introduced to the animals and learn the rules before entering their zones on your own. If using the a/c or heat during your stay, please turn off or adjust temperature if you plan on being gone all day.

About the neighborhood
This retreat center is located in the rural rolling hills of mid-south Tennessee which is called the Western Highland Rim. There are farms and ranches in the area as well as acres of tree farms. The Buffalo River runs along the edge of our additional campground property. The green is here even in the height of winter. The historic Natchez Trace Parkway is about 10 to 15 minutes drive. The historic town of Hohenwald is about 20-25 minutes drive.
Getting around
You'll need a car to get to and from the lodge. Once you are here, immerse in nature and walk around. If you are interested in renting kayaks, please inquire.

How to get there
This lodge is in the rural landscape near the historic Natchez Trace Parkway. We are about 15 miles between two small towns including the historic Hohenwald (high forest in German). You'll need a car to get around. Two hours from Nashville, 3 hours from Memphis or Birmingham. Airport pick up and drop off can be coordinated for additional fee.
