Cabin
Just 30 miles from Nashville and 10 miles to Leipers Fork, this 1952 log cabin, is a piece of paradise. Located 8 miles from the Natchez Trace, we are an ideal place to begin, or end, a ride down the Trace. (You can leave your vehicle here, if you are cycling). A dirt drive brings you to the cabin, most likely, Patches, our dog, will be out to greet you.The entire cabin is yours to enjoy. There's no TV, limited Internet, and cellphone service, making it easier to unplug, and relax for a while. This is low stress, rejuvenating, slow, country living and it is good for you! The cabin is clean and comfortable. Good tasting spring water comes straight from the tap and there is unlimited hot water. The cupboards are stocked with breakfast supplies. Go outside for a minute before retiring for...Just 30 miles from Nashville and 10 miles to Leipers Fork, this 1952 log cabin, is a piece of paradise. Take a look at the stars overhead. Listen to the frogs and crickets. Remember life is good. Then sleep, deep, and well. There is queen sized bed in the bedroom, and in the living room a single bed, and a full sized futon. We have guests with severe allergies, so no smoking is allowed in the cabin. It is allowed on the screened in porch. We are just across the yard if you need anything and we are oh so happy to provided any needed assistance. The $135.00 rate does not include Flipkey's booking fee. Looking forward to hosting you.More
Great relaxing place if you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! No tv, no internet was amazing! The birds that came to visit were beautiful! And Patches the dog came to visit and play!
Our cost to stay at Hummingbird Haven was higher than any of the other 10 Bed and Breakfasts we stayed at along the Natchez Trace. We could not access internet or get any phone service from the cabin. We were not able to get hot...More

Wow, I'm so glad you had such a good time. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you both. It was fun, and what makes having our B&B so enjoyable. We hope to see you again.
Very comfortable cabin with all that was needed. Took a little while to get used to not having internet connection. But once we did, the quiet was wonderful. Watching the birds was amusing.More

We enjoyed having you and Ellen, particularly your sharing your fun local adventures. We know having to walk out to the hayfield is Fernvale style cell service. It does give pause to disconnect a bit and focus on relaxing. Glad you adapted and enjoyed. Come...More

For anyone maybe wondering if Hummingbird Haven is a decision you should make, I hope this review helps your decision. It is rare to find a place away from everything that allows you to relax, take in nature, and read without hearing planes flying overhead....More

Thanks Jedidah! We look forward to see your video! The best of luck with your music.
Relaxing, soul renewing country. Down a hollow, a creek at the edge of the yard, flowers and very friendly neighbors if you decide to walk to the nearby river. Lots of birds to wake you in the morning, and entertain you as you have coffee on the screened in porch. Bowie Park with walking, bike and horse trails 5 miles away. Quaint Lieper's Fork with antique stores, art gallery, and great music at Puckett's Grocery is 8 wooded miles away. Historic, intriguing Franklin, 15 miles and downtown Nashville is 33 miles.
