Olive Villas is our old family house which we renovated in 2011 to be rent out as separate apartments. There is a two-storey house comprising Villa Zerbera (first floor) and Villa Voucamvilia (ground floor). Both can accommodate up to 6 people. There is also a separate maisonette (Kamelia) which can accommodate up to 3 people. Villa Zerbera covers an area of 115m2 and can accommodate up to 6 people. It includes an open plan space of 45m2 with living room, fireplace and fully equipped kitchen and dining area. There are 3 double bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom. It is a traditional family house that stands on the site of an old olive press which belonged to the owners' family since the beginning of the 20th century. The more modern olive mill which remained functional until the 70's still stands next to the house and the Olive Villas Estate still produces excellent quality extra virgin olive oil (a sample will be provided to all guests). The house is situated in a quiet location offering comfortable accommodation among fantastic nature, ideal for hiking and excursions in the region as well as experiencing the traditional Cretan way of life. It includes spacious bedrooms and living rooms, fireplaces, verandas with marvelous views and barbeque and fully equipped kitchen. The Crete region Crete is the largest island in Greece. The island offers amazing variety, combining snow-capped mountains, rolling hills covered with olive trees and over 1000 km of varied coastline. Crete has far more endemic plants than any other island in Europe. Chania has a great history and cultural heritage, partly because it faced many conquerors through time, thus being open to the influences of different civilizations. Chania has many monuments of Byzantine period, Venetian period, Ottoman period and modern History as well as worth-seeing museums, like the Nautical Museum of Crete, the Archaeological Museum of Chania, the house of El. Venizelos, the War Museum of Chania. The climate of the area is temperate Mediterranean and the temperatures vary at normal levels all year round. The Chania / Kolymbari area Kolymbari, a quiet village nestling between the Mediterranean sea and majestic green cliffs, 23 km west of Chania, is still relatively unaffected by tourism. Kolymbari is known for its nice sandy beach, a small fishing port, cozy tavernas and cafés as well as several restaurants and a few shops. Olive Villa is situated at the village of Kria Vrissi, 30km south-west of the city of Chania and 10km from the beach of Kolymbari. Its traditional stone architecture blends seamlessly with the surrounding fields of vines, olive and orange trees and the marvellous view of the area mountains. It is the ideal place for rest during you vacation in Crete. Merveilleux séjour dans un cadre idyllique et un espace de rêve, Dimitris vous accueillera très chaleureusement et vous offrira des services dignes d'un hôtel 4* La maison est située dans un cadre de verdure idéal (collines couvertes d'oliveraie et de vigne à 10 minutes de la mer) et jouit d'une tranquillité et d'un point de vue exceptionnels. Les pièces sont grandes, climatisées et vous pourrez profiter d'une grande terrasse, d'un barbecue, d'une pelouse et de transats... A recommander pour toute personne ayant de grandes exigences, Dimitris sera à votre écoute et saura vous convaincre que la Crète est une île très accueillante! Une location à recommander impérativement!!!
