YOU CAN NOT SEE OR HEAR ONE CABIN FROM ANOTHER. This part of the TRG is the most beautiful and untouched of all the 26 mile gorge and the widest part at 1/8 of a mile wide. With 1,800' ft. mountains and cliffs. Water only moving 3-4 miles an hour. Prentice Cooper State Forest (24.686 acres) that we share property lines with, has 35 miles of hiking trails along TRG.Cabin is on the water 'in shade all day'. TRG consists of 27,000 acres of land carved through the Cumberland Mountains by 27 miles of the Tennessee River. It is one of the most unique natural treasures in the Southeast. It is the only large river canyon bordering a mid-size city (Chattanooga) and is the fourth largest river canyon east of the Mississippi. The Gorge begins approximately five miles downstream from downtown Chattanooga, right across from Williams Island, flowing past TRG Cabins and continues a total of 27 river miles to Hales Bar Dam Marina near Nickajack Lake. Owner is so sweet and cares so much about your stay. Had THE best time at THE best place to stay! Bonfire, kayaking, relaxing with my siblings. Super clean and spacious! Thank you Billy!!!

A little way to late but. Loved this place! Will most surely do again! If you love privacy! A break from the kids! Fishing, Kayaking and anything outdoors then this is it! I'm looking into having the whole family come out! All three cabins!

Very clean and well maintained cabin and property. Friendly owner on site happy to help or just leave you be, as I prefer. Vaulted ceiling with track lighting. Nice covered above ground porch. Secluded feel.
