I was unable to stay at the cabin because of flooding in the area. The cabin is very comfortable looking and a very peaceful setting. We will be hoping to make another trip there and staying. Hopefully next time the weather will be nicer.

Beautiful!
Amazing place to stay with a beautiful view, nice and quiet away from the city life. We both have a busy work schedule so this was perfect with no cell reception where we could sight see during the day and relax in the evening.

Peace and Excitement in one location
We were looking for a peaceful getaway so we could see the stars at night and enjoy tranquility throughout our stay. I kind of stumbled on this place, which I think means was led to this place. I did my research and ask the owner some questions before settling to spend a week. WOW, what a great choice. Sitting in the valley, we were surrounded by beautiful meadows and tree covered slopes. No cell, no Wi-Fi and while there was satellite TV it saw very little use. The roads are dirt, but very well kept. The home was just that, a home for a week. Very comfortable. We had deer with young all around us and saw a lot of critters as we traveled around. We enjoyed the eclipse with a clear sky and beautiful weather. We would strongly recommend this location and if we decide to go north again, we will consider another stay.

Peaceful home away from home
My husband and I stayed here with our 3 kids in July. We were more than surprised at what we found when we got here. The setting is a nice and peaceful change from life in the city and the cabin itself was well furnished and well kept. We had everything we needed for a week away from home. The owner, Carmen, was very quick to respond to our questions about booking and the caretaker, Glenda, was awesome and always there for any questions we had. She stopped by and greeted us the first day to make sure we had everything we needed. We did not want to leave! If you are looking for a nice, quiet place to unplug and 'destress', this is the place to go! (It's the first time in awhile we were able to get our kids away from their video games!!) We are looking forward to booking this cabin again next summer!! :)

More than what we expected
Great cabin in nice, quiet location. Visit Mount Rushmore. Hike to Harney Peak. Eat or have a beer at Moonshine Gulch Saloon. We enjoyed it all.

Peaceful & Charming
A wonderful time at this completely furnished modern cabin with all the amenities. Centrally located between Deadwood and Hill City allowed us to play tourist but also just enjoy the peace and quiet . Highly recommend this cabin!

Home away from home
This was our 2nd time of staying at Pine Meadows during the Sturgis Rally. And once again, we were thrilled with our choice. Very clean, easy access, peace & quiet, and fantastic views of the mountains. It is so reassuring to know that the property managers, Glenda & Dean, go out of their way to make the stay at the cabin memorable. We are so looking forward to returning in the future. We have told quite a few people about this place. Whether you are staying just one night, one week or a whole month, we are sure you will also feel right at home. We would also like to thank the owners for sharing this fabulous getaway.

Solitude in the hills
We really enjoyed the cabin and it's setting. Our boys enjoyed fishing in the pond and we loved being so close to the Mickelson bike trail. The owner was very pleasant and replied quickly to the request. The host was very nice.
