About the neighborhood
Hill City is centrally located in the "Heart of the Black Hills." If your search for South Dakota accommodations includes some of that famous Black Hills fishing, Deerfield Lake is just up the road. And Hill City, with its many art galleries, restaurants, wineries, and gift shops is only a half-mile from our cozy and secluded rental. Our property is an idyllic and restful hideaway, surrounded by trees, and recalls a slower and more peaceful time long forgotten.
Getting around
The most convenient way to tour and sightsee, around the beautiful and pristine Black Hills, is by car. Hill City is well known locally for its restaurants, art galleries, unique shops, historic 1880 Train, and the museum at the Black Hills Institute of Geological Research. All of this and more is a casual stroll away via the Mickelson Hiking & Biking Trail.
