Vintage Pawleys Island! Very near the beach and the boat ramp. We loved listening to the surf even though we couldn’t see it from the wonderful porch. Well equipped for small children, and comfortable for a large extended family. As with all accommodations on Pawleys Island, guests should be aware that there are a lot of steps to climb up to the main living area. We loved the homey atmosphere, the great internet and Smart TV, and we loved how responsive and helpful Anna was to our questions.

Gardenia at Pawleys Island
Our family planned the vacation back in February. We had a wonderful time even though it rained all but 2 days out of the week. Home was very close to the beach access, clean, had beautiful screen porches for my grandsons to play on during the rain, and plenty of toys and gear for the kids. The only reason for 4 out of 5 is because it wasn't clear that the downstairs master was not connected to main living quarters. Did say private entrance; but, didn't realize that meant not connected. We did deal with bugs; but, probably from all the rain. We are from SC Lowcountry so we're used to it. Anna was wonderful and checked on us. She even offered a few more nights at a great rate because she felt bad it rained on us. Very affordable and lovely charm of a two generation family beach home. Pine floors and ceiling were beautiful. Everything you need is there at the house. We brought too much really not knowing what to expect.

Charming, Comfortable, Special
This was a very special rental. The house is charming, with an abundance of porches with ceiling fans/hammock, table and chairs, etc. We found it to be very clean and comfortable for our family of 5 adults plus a baby. Anna was helpful and responsive to our needs. The house is just as it is pictured, and is right across the street from the beach. I pictured a vacation sitting on a porch, with a fan above my head, reading my book and taking it easy. This is exactly what we all got. What I especially loved was the charm of the house. If you want a big, ugly, modern rental this is not for you. But if you want to settle into Southern charm, sit outside and listen to the birds, and appreciate what this house has to offer, I could not recommend more highly. We loved loved loved it!

Magical Beach week at Pawleys Island!
Our family gathered for a fabulous week together in this comfortable, lovely, well provisioned home. We had a two year old and a 6 month old with us so easy beach access was key. We cooked amazing meals in the kitchen, enjoyed the large porches, and were helped by use of baby equipment already in the house. Anna, the owner, was always an email or phone call away and we all said I bet we would be good friends if we lived in the same town. We slept 8 adults and two babies comfortably.

Making memories
We had a great time in Pawleys at your beach house! It was so convenient for our family(including two children) to go back and forth to the beach. We really enjoyed grilling out and having cocktails on the huge screened in porch. It was close to everything. A special thanks to anna for being so helpful with her recommendations for shopping and dining. We look forward to coming back soon!

Relaxing from Start to Finish; Will Definitely Be Back!
The location, just a walk across the road to the beach on one side of the house and even closer to the quiet and charming creek on the other, is the best of many good features offered by this rental. It was our first trip to Pawleys and expectations were exceeded across the board.
The house is spacious and well appointed; perfect for our family trip with a small child. The screened-in porches make it easy to enjoy the outdoors even when at the house. Going down to SC from the Northeast for a last week of summer, the location and porches allowed us to enjoy the weather and spend almost all our waking hours outside. The interior is clean and updated, with a very nice new kitchen. We cooked several meals there and found everything we needed.
There is a lot to do in the area, including great restaurants, shopping, state parks, and activities. The owners were very helpful with suggestions of the best spots to hit up and the neighbors were incredibly welcoming, adding a few more suggestions of their own when they saw us walking to the beach.
We try to go somewhere different for vacation every year, but Pawleys Island and this rental gave us such a good trip that we'll definitely be back.

Laid back relaxation...
Anna's rental house on Pawleys Island was perfect for out family of five plus a friend -- 6 total. The kids (ages 10-15) had the three bedrooms upstairs and my wife and I had the downstairs semi-detached room. The screened-in mega patios upstairs and down are to die for. Two-minute walk to the beach on one side, one-minute walk the the marshy river inlet to the other. Amenities were as expected and anna is a terrific source for tips on what to do and see and eat in the area. Definitely take advantage of the bike rentals--great service and reasonably priced. And when you don't go out to eat, splurge on buying the fabulous produce and everything else at The Fresh Market. We are already planning a return visit!

Relaxing vacation in a cute house right near the beach!
We loved this house. It was cute, clean and, most importantly, only a minute's walk from the beach. We felt at home and were able to relax on the huge porches after a day in the sun. Pawleys Island is also a unique beach town with plenty to explore. We highly recommend staying at this listing!

Fabuloso!!!
What an amazing experience staying at this adorable house. We were right next to the ocean, marsh, boat ramp, fishing, relaxing, great food and shopping. House was convenient to everything you need for a great beach getaway. The house was clean and cozy with a great island flare!!

Recently voted one of the top ten beaches in the U.S. and Caribbean by Coastal Living magazine. Pawleys Island is located just south of Litchfield between Myrtle Beach and Charleston, South Carolina.
