“Carolina Palms” is a special home that will stay with you throughout the year until you can return to paradise. With over 4,325 square feet, “Carolina Palms” features six bedrooms and six full bathrooms. Your family will feel that “Carolina Palms” is from an era and grandeur that has long been past by when they arrive at the home. The large oak door brings you into a grand foyer, two stories high with ornamental carvings framing the walls. It is as if you were entering into a great hall. To the left you will find a billiards parlor that probably will be occupied throughout your week at the beach. Complete with a wet bar and flat screen television, it might be difficult to get the guys to go to bed. The kitchen is spacious, and features top of the line appliances such as the sub-zero refrigerator. A second refrigerator is available in the pantry. From the kitchen you will find a screen porch that overlooks the private pool. Straight from a Coastal Living style magazine, the pool area features comfortable furniture, gas grill and white columns supporting lattice work providing some shade on bright Carolina days. The living room is appointed with comfort in mind, and also features a large flat screen television. The master bedroom is located on the first level as well. It is highlighted by men and ladies separate bathrooms, king size four poster bed, as well as a separate sitting room with library. Finally, on the first level is a guest bedroom with a full bath featuring a daybed.
After walking the grand staircase, your family will reach the second floor of “Carolina Palms” that contains four guest bedrooms. Three of these bedrooms feature queen beds, and the fourth has two twin beds and a futon. Three full baths are located on the second floor. Where your sun kissed hair and great tan will last a few days following your vacation at “Carolina Palms”, the memories of your vacation on the Island will be endless.

1. Taking the wife & twins to Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park. Located right under the Arthur Ravenel Bridge on the Mount Pleasant side, this park has an incredible Ravenel Bridge themed playground, large spaces for picnicking/playing/viewing outdoor movies, a huge 1,250-foot-long fishing/walking pier, and the delicious River Watch Cafe Sandwich & Ice Cream shop. With Movies in the Park, Party in the Parks, and other seasonal festivals, there is always some fun to be had here!
2. Lunching at Home Team BBQ - Sullivan's Island. If you are on Sullivan's for lunch, there is a great chance you will catch Chad grabbing a bite at his back left table. The food is incredible and a staple of Charleston now with three locations (West Ashley, Sullivan's Island, and Downtown Charleston). Home Team offers a variety of food with incredible BBQ, brisket, smoked chicken wings, shrimp tacos and daily lunch specials that keep you coming back for more. 3. Enjoying Lunch, Dinner, and/or Drinks on Shem Creek. Shem Creek is a Mount Pleasant landmark located in the Charleston area. Whether you are dining on a porch, seated indoors, or simply having a cocktail outside at one of the many establishments on Shem Creek, you will have a great view of the creek, local shrimp boats, and usually porpoises that frequent the area. Have a cocktail at Vickery's Shark Fin Bar, eat some World Famous Fish Bites at Water's Edge Cabana Bar, and slurp the best oysters in Charleston at Shem Creek Bar & Grill's back Oyster Bar. After you eat, take a stroll along the new boardwalk at Shem Creek Park to take in the breathtaking views of the creek and its surrounding wetlands
