Welcome to Sweet Carolina, 49 Dune Lane. This extravagant 8-bedroom, 9.5-bathroom home boasts countless features to make you feel like you are on your own private resort. Located on the beautiful ocean sands of North Forest Beach, you cannot help but relax. The house features ample space for everyone and sleeping for up to 26. The main floor of the house is made for entertaining with a wide-open floor plan complete with a gourmet kitchen, dining room, large living room, and powder room. Enjoy your meals on the deck overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, cooked on the built-in grill and outdoor kitchen. Also, on the main floor is one of the king guest bedrooms with a private bath featuring a roll-in shower. This master bedroom has ocean views and main deck access. All bedrooms have a large flat-screen TV for your enjoyment as well. The elevator can be used from the ground –up to the first, second, or third floors.
The second floor plays host to 5 additional bedrooms and a game loft/second living room. Three of which have ocean views and deck access. The first of these three has 2 queen beds and a private bath with tub-shower. Continuing down the hall you will find the second ocean facing room with private bath and king bed. The third bedroom on this floor with ocean views is the junior master suite. This room has a king bed, sleeper sofa, private bath with roll-in shower, and access to the 2nd-floor deck overlooking the ocean. This ocean facing deck has a spiral staircase leading down to the main deck or pool deck!
The last two bedrooms face inland but also have a deck connecting each other. The first of these two bedrooms is another king guest with a private bathroom and tub-shower. The 5th bedroom on this floor is a queen guest room and private bath with tub-shower, just outside the game loft. The game loft has a large flat-screen TV with easy access to be able to hook up your favorite game system and a staircase up to the third floor. The third floor is all about the kids with yet another bedroom and 2 bathrooms but does not have access via the elevator. The third-floor bedroom has 4 sets of bunk beds and each bathroom has a roll-in shower.
Of course, the house is perfect if you must stay inside, but you came to Hilton Head to be outside, and 49 Dune Lane has made it easy to stay outside. The outdoor space is nothing less than resort quality. There is ample seating to enjoy an intense game of ping-pong in the open rec room overlooking the pool deck. Enjoy your favorite beverage under the Tiki Bar overlooking the world-class pool. Below the Tiki Bar is the Pool Bar. Built right into the pool is seating to the bar next to the hot tub and sun lounging deck. The other end of the pool is the perfect spot for the kids and a cool relaxing day. The bubblers will keep the kids entertained and you cool as you lay-out in the sun on the shallow patio portion of the pool. All this and there are still more to enjoy when the sun goes down at the built-in fire pit over-looking the ocean. And you have not even been to the beach yet.

WOW!!! This was a special family vacation for 15 of us, ages 1 to 70. This house is simply amazing. All bedrooms with their own bathroom and big screen tv with Netflix and Hulu. The junior master suite on the 2nd floor is absolutely incredible. Kitchen was huge with both keurig and coffee pot, enormous double fridge and freezer, wine fridge and separate large ice maker which we all took advantage of. Huge tv and comfy couches and chairs and large dining room table for 10. Kids ate at the kitchen counter, plenty of space. Outdoor kitchen, and fantastic tiki hut to relax after dinner and enjoy the ocean breezes. We spent a lot of time in the large pool with fountains and enjoyed some intense ping pong tournaments. On top of all that, steps to the beach to enjoy beautiful sunrises and sunsets. And back to roast marshmallows in the outdoor fireplace. I wish I could live here!

Wow...what a place
The house was AWESOME. We had the whole family together celebrating a 60th anniversary. Everyone was happy with the house, the amenities, the pool, the beach, the closeness to everything, and on and on and on!

Top of the line oceanfront home on North Forrest Beach.
Wonderful Week with family at the Sweet Carolina House at 49 Dune.
This home was even better than advertised. When we walked in the ocean view was stunning. The layout is open and decor light and airy. So much room to be together or apart. We had our family of 10 adults and 4 children. There was something for everyone. The outside area is like a 4 tier entertainment . Coffee in the rockers on the top deck. Lunch and games on the main deck. Swimming, hot tub, Tiki Hut on the ground level. The closeness to the ocean allowed us to go to the beach
with only a towel. The Tiki hut provided the shade and seating. Dolphin watching was great from all three locations. The bedrooms were spacious and beds comfortable. The four children loved the huge third floor bunk room. This home did not feel like a rental. It was clean and cared for. The kitchen had anything you needed to cook light or a gourmet meal. This home did not feel like a rental. It was clean and well cared for. Though very pricey it was well worth the expense. We booked through Beachside Getaway. They were very responsive and easy to work with. We would love to stay here again.

AMAZING!
My family and I stayed in this beautiful home in November 2015. It is absolutely breath taking! Everything in this home is state of the art.
The kitchen is spacious and spectacular (again all state of the art appliances/ features). Plenty of space for everyone. The open family room/ living area is great for large groups. Every single bedroom in the house is extremely clean and very well decorated. Designer touches throughout. Bathrooms are state of the art. The top floor has bunk beds and a great area for the kids to sleep and play. There is an awesome grill area with outdoor kitchen, tiki hut with outdoor couches, fire place and flat screen tv, swim up pool bar, sun deck, fire pit, ping pong table, plenty of lounge chairs/ seating areas.
You are very close to Coligny plaza which is where my kids saw Santa Clause riding in a helicopter. They had a Christmas festival while we were there and it was great for the kiddos. It's a bike ride or walk away.

Perfect Beach House for a Getaway!
I stayed at 49 Dune with my extended family and my young daughter. The house was perfect. It had everything we needed; It is right on the beach, large in-ground pool (my daughter especially liked the fountains,) seconds away from Coligney, double fridge, tiki hut, and the views from all the rooms are fantastic. There were lots of people in the house and plenty of room for us to all be together and at the same space for us to have some quiet time. You can't make a better choice when it comes to a beach rental!

Exceeded all expectations
This is without question the most inviting, well thought out and well appointed home we have stayed in. The owners took the time to think through what a large group would need - ample seating inside and out, comfortable beds with extra pillows and blankets, two grills and refrigerators, places for everyone to relax.... there are just not enough superlatives to describe both the home and our stay.
We had many meals outside because the view is so wonderful! The beach is steps away and long walks and bike rides are a must. There are so many things to do on HHI, but we found it hard to leave this home. We are already planning our return trip:).

State of the Art. Beautiful vacation home. Best Vacation.
We stayed at this brand new home in June 2014. It is absolutely breath taking. Everything in this home is state of the art. We had 26 family members total and there was plenty of room for everyone! The kitchen is just spectacular- again all state of the art appliances/ features. Plenty of space for everyone. The open family room/ living area is great for large groups. The first floor is beautiful and you can tell the owners take a lot of pride in their property. Every single bedroom in the house is extremely clean and very well decorated. Designer touches throughout. Bathrooms are state of the art. The top floor has four sets of bunk beds- and each one of the bottom bunks is a double bed. At least 8 kids can sleep in this bedroom very comfortably- but you could easily sleep more here because of the double beds. The outside of the house is amazing with spectacular lighting in the landscaping, on the house, and in the pool area. There is an awesome grill area with outdoor kitchen, tiki hut with outdoor couches, fire place and flat screen tv, swim up pool bar, sun deck, fire pit, ping pong table, plenty of lounge chairs/ seating areas. All of this and you are right on the ocean!! We could see the dolphins swimming by from the deck. And the location on Dune lane is great! You are very close to Coligny plaza which is great for bike rides up to get dinner/ ice cream. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by! It does not get much better than this! We had the vacation of a lifetime and made memories that we will treasure forever!

Great house in the BEST location!!
We vacationed to Hilton Head with our extended family and the house at 49 Dune Lane was wonderful! We had 4 kids (3, 5, 7, 15) and 6 adults (25-65). The house is very nice with excellent furnishings! The beds, couches and televisions were all great. There was even a nice wicker set in the sun room and a nice patio table with swivel rocking chairs and umbrella. There were 4 loungers by the pool, as well. The kitchen was nicely equipped with plates, silverware, glasses, etc. There was even a blender and platter! The grill was great and there was utensils supplied for that as well. The kitchen table was large enough to seat about 8 and was perfect for late night card games. The pool was great with the hot tub right there with it!! It is only a few steps to the gazebo with deck (and loungers) to lay out and a few more from there right onto the beach! The location is so nice because it is close enough to bike to Coligny, but far enough away so that the beach is not crowded. We were there the week after the 4th of July and had as much space on the beach as we wanted! We reserved the house through Beachside Getaway and they were very friendly and easy to deal with! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!!
