You will have easy access to the bike path and just a short walk to the beach. Plenty of room for an extended family to come and enjoy the beach and marsh views! You will enter the home from a covered front porch with rocking chairs. A large foyer greets you with a staircase to the second floor. A 1/2 bath is to the left of the front door. The laundry is also in this hall, behind doors. The foyer opens into a wonderful great room with the kitchen, living and dining areas combined. The dining table is very large with plenty of seating. To the left of the great room is a master bedroom with a king size bed, TV, and large private bath. This bath has a 2 sink vanity, and large sit down shelf shower. This bedroom opens onto a deck area overlooking the marsh. To the right of the great room is a full hall bath(sit down shower), and 2 more bedrooms. The bedroom to the front of the home(facing Jungle Shores) has a queen size bed, the back bedroom(facing the marsh), 2 twin beds. This bedroom also opens onto a marsh view deck area. Both of these bedrooms have a TV. The second floor has a large hallway with seating and lots of books at the top of the stairs. The front bedroom, to the front of the hallway, has 2 double beds and a set of bunks. Another bedroom, next to this, has a queen size bed. This bedroom opens into a full bath(tub/shower) that is shared by a bedroom at the back of the home that has a king size bed and marsh views. This bedroom is accessed from the hallway. On the right of the upstairs hallway are 2 more bedrooms each with a queen size bed. The back bedroom has marsh views. An adjorning full bath(tub/shower) shared by the other bedroom on this side of the home. The front bedroom (facing Jungle Shores) is accessed from the 2nd floor hall. All of the bedrooms on this floor have a TV, with the exception of the front bunk room. Beyond the hall is a nice 2nd floor den area with comfortable seating and TV. The den opens to an open deck with panoramic views of the marsh. "Murmur's Magnolia" would be an excellent choice for your next Edisto Beach vacation. This home is tired

My family has rented this beach house for over 10 years. It is a beautifully designed home with a great layout for large families. Ten years ago, the house was amazing. But it declines with each year that passes, as the owners or management do a poor job of maintaining what could be a lovely home. The upholstered furniture is well worn and well stained. It appears to have never been cleaned after all the renters who stay through the years. The walls have not been repainted and are horribly dingy, as are the carpets upstairs, filled with stains and tears. The cleaning company does an extremely poor job to prepare the home for the next renters. The same bath mats have been used for at least 10 years and look rarely washed. The dishes are pulled out of the dishwasher wet and put in the cabinet with water all over them that is never allowed to dry. The floors are sandy. The back porch has ants. It doesn’t appear the bedding is laundered. I did email the management company with all of these concerns, with pictures attached, about two years ago in hopes that at least some things would be given some attention. My family doesn’t require the best of the best, but attention to a maintaining a couple things each year would be a nice gesture to let loyal customers know that they care about their property and their renters. We return each year hoping there has been some improvement, but unfortunately it remains the same. It is disappointing for such a lovely home to go downhill.
