Ginentonic Self Catering Cottage A superbly appointed 2 bedroom period cottage set in a peaceful courtyard at the rear of the main house and close to the heart of St Keverne village square. Tastefully and comfortably decorated with quality soft furnishings, curtains, flooring and lighting. Accommodation Ginentonic Cottage has a wood burning stove, central heating, courtyard with table, chairs and a gas BBQ. There is a separate laundry room which is available for use. Ground floor Lounge: two seater sofa, armchair, wood burning stove, freeview TV/DVD. We booked the Ginentonic for ourselves (2 retired people) to be available to help for a 100th birthday. We stayed for 4 nights and the booking was then taken by our youngest son and his partner and their 1 year old son for a weeks...More

St Keverne a thriving village community, it has two pubs and an organic restaurant providing excellent food, to take care of your dining, eating and drinking requirements without having to get in the car and drive anywhere. In addition, St Keverne has a butchers, bakers and a well-stocked convenience store, to include locally sourced produce such as salad and vegetables from the local allotment and local cheeses. St Keverne is on the South West Coast path, therefore providing amazing walks and spectacular scenery. Depending on which month you visit, you may spot seals or even Humpback Whales in the Autumn & Winter months. Visit some of the local towns and villages such as Coverack, St Ives, Cadgwith Cove with sea shanties being perform
How to get there
By Road From Truro take the A39 direction Falmouth/Helston, onto the A394 to Helston. From Helston take the A3083, direction The Lizard. At the end of RNAS Culdrose Air Base, turn left at the Roundabout onto the B3293. St Keverne, which is marked, is 8 miles along this road. As you enter St Keverne Square, Old Temperance House is facing you, next to the Church. By Rail or Coach There are regular trains/Coaches to Truro. From Truro, there are Bus connections via Helston, to St Keverne. By Air There are flights from Stanstead and Gatwick to Newquay. A Hire Car can be arranged from there, or a Taxi can be sent to collect you.
