St. Michael's was purpose built in 2007 to a very high standard. It enjoys truly spectacular 180 degree front-line sea views. To the east you see the Rame Peninsula, to the west Looe Island and out to sea the famous Eddystone lighthouse. The wildlife in the area is superb, and we've seen Dolphins swimming in front of the house.

In the fully fitted kitchen we have a solid English oak table with two benches and two chairs. In the sitting room are 3 comfortable sofas and a large armchair. There's a 42 inch wall mounted Panasonic plasma screen with the full SKY+ package including HD. In all the bedrooms we have lovely white New England style beds, side tables, dressing tables and chest of draws.

We have two large bedrooms upstairs, both with double beds and en-suite bathrooms. One with bath and shower and one with shower. Bedroom 3 has a bunk bed and bedroom 4 a very comfy double bed.They both share a third bathroom with bath and shower. In the drawing room there is a high quality sofa bed which is very comfortable. For the smaller kids we have a travel cot and high chair. There is also plenty of storage for clothes in all rooms.

There's a utility room with washing machine and separate tumble dryer and a door to the back of the house where there's an outside tap to hose down the kids when get back from the beach.

Seaton & Downderry Beach is a MCS (Marine Conservation Society) recommended beach in Cornwall. For children and sun lovers there are lovely beaches, safe swimming, rock pools and quiet little coves. Beach activities include, diving, surfing, sea canoeing, sailing, windsurfing and fishing. There are a number of excellent golf courses near bye, including the 18 hole at Whitsand Bay and Saltash and the Jack Niclaus designed St. Mellion course. The famous Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and several National Trust properties are within easy driving distance. Just a few miles north you'll find the beautiful Bodmin Moor, and the north Cornwall coast is easily visited in a day.
