Top class apartment with wonderful views and surroundings
We found the apartment to be as advertised and more, it was great to just crash
out and watch the world go by sat on the balcony in the sunshine,(not guaranteed)
Fishing and boating were on hand and easy to arrange,well situated for touring around,
and great if you liked coastal path walking. Last but not least the crab sandwich from
the cafe next door was fantastic.

Wonderful location, bright and modern flat, characterful harbour
We spent a week here in August 2012. We could hardly find fault. The flat was lovely - bright, clean and modern with gorgeous views. The coastline was breathtaking and the children adored the nearby beaches, some of which have the added advantage of a cafe and shop. The weather was invariably better than the forecasters would have had us believe. Joanna, the caretaker (?) was charming and bubbly and extrememl helpful.

Tastefuly modernised very comfortable appartment with outstanding views.
Well appointed first floor accomodation right on the quay and with the coastal path right outside the front door. The village of Mullion with a supermarket, baker and a few other shops and a pharmacy provided all we needed for our stay was about a mile.from the appartment. We had an excellent meal in one of the pubs and very good fish and chips from the chippy. Even though it was early in the year there was quite a lot of activity particularly at the weekend with divers and other water based sports to see from the flat which was good to see when we were actually in the lounge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and had no complaints.

Great views great cottage....great wi fi!
We had a lovely week at Pats Den one of 4 accomodations in Island Views . We were met by Jo who lives nearby she checked we had all we wanted and to contact her if we needed anything this was all reassuring.
We were right on Mullion Harbour, and had a lovely view of both the harbour and Mullion Island. The flat itself was both comfortable and contemporary, although fully modernised it still retains its original Cornish charm. Had great wi fi which meant we didn't have to search for cafe's to keep up to date With e mails plus we could Internet search for local information.
Yes this cosy harbour cottage accommodation gave us a perfect holiday in the most beautiful cove in Cornwall. We will be back as soon as we can! Tim and Aileen.

Coastal hideaway
Fantastic location on the harbour, nestled into the hillside.
Lovely coastal walks .
A couple of pubs nearby in the village and a hotel on the cliff top.
The apartment is finished to a high standard with all the amenities you would need.
Excellent shower!
In October the apartment was lovely and warm and was especially cosy when we lit the wood burner.
Can't wait to go again.

Great location, comfort, warmth and breathtaking views
We stayed in the top, right apartment (Tremellin) over Christmas 2012. The apartment is spacious, warm and well equipped, including wifi (essential when travelling with teenagers). The apartment is very high spec with modern kitchen and bathroom and all possible comforts provided. The rugged beauty of Cornwall is, literally, on the doorstep as is a local shop and good parking facilities.

Perfect quiet getaway in historic harbour with stunning sea views and nearby coastal walks.
What a lovely and relaxing stay I had at Island View (I stayed in the Fisherman’s Loft). Even in wet and stormy weather, this place is breath taking. The stunning views and lull of the waves crashing in the harbour are such a treat and extremely calming. I was very impressed with the very clean apartment and great facilities (the shower is especially lovely) and the skylights in two of the rooms is a nice touch. Welcome gifts were very much appreciated which included fresh Cornish milk, flowers and Cornish fairing biscuits. I cooked most days and found the kitchen to be well equipped.
The wood burner is a great edition and made for cosy evenings while the apartments balcony provided the best views even in the worst weather (it was early January!).
An added bonus was the fact I could bring my cat Teddy. He enjoyed his stay and particularly found interest in looking out the window watching the fisherman at the end of the harbour.
The nearby village of Mullion has everything you could need for your stay including a delightful fish and chip shop and a farmers market on the 3rd Sunday of the month.Cream teas can be found at the café two doors away or at the Mullion Cove hotel.
Close by there is lots to do and see including a chocolate factory up the road, a trip to Lizard Point (coastal path suitable for almost anyone), Poldhu Cove (the café very good and reasonably priced) and Church Cove with the latter two worth going for a sunbathe and swim in the summer months.
I felt very much welcomed at the apartment with the housekeeper checking that all was in order once I had settled in and the locals saying hello when I passed. I’d certainly recommend this place to anyone, especially to those that are looking for a quiet getaway.

Absolutely superb!!! Always heart wrenching to leave such a beautiful place!!
We have stayed in Pat's Den at Island View a number of times now and we are never disappointed! The very warm welcome, the modern, exceptionally clean and well equipped accommodation is well worth the money. Our favourite place to be is sitting in the lounge taking in the amazing view of the harbour and beyond! We would definitely recommend a stay in one of the apartments at Island View, we are sure it'll be a holiday to remember! The Newby Family, West Yorkshire.

Lovely cosy cottage in fantastic location
Despite chilly weather we had a great Easter break at Island View. The cottage is in a great location; you can look out over the harbour and the island beyond watching the waves roll in. Very clean and well equipped.

comfortable appartments in small idyllic cornish harbour with secret beach
Tremellin apartment is clean warm and comfortable, newly rebuilt, with double and twin bedrooms in a small quiet Cornish harbour. Beach can be accessed at low tide through cave in the harbour. Small cafe serves good simple food and ice creams. Lovely view over harbour out to sea.
Arrangements for arrival are easy and flexible.
No dishwasher, but there is a washing machine.
Lizard and Cornwall have loads of family activities within striking distance. Our girls have enjoyed the seal sanctuary, Roskilly's for food, ice cream and farm animals and meadow walk, National Trust gardens, especially the maze and beach at Glendurgan, National Maritime Museum, at Falmouth, Lizard point lighthouse and the cafe on the point. The beaches are beautiful. Kynance on the West and Kennack on the East. If windy, choose the sheltered side for sunbathing.
Mullion village is 20 to 30 mins walk up the hill from the cottages, past the alpacas at the chocolate factory. The Spar shop seems to be open all days of the week until late for supplies, with good pasties early in the day. There is also a delicatessen which serves excellent pasties and sandwiches during day. On Tues and Thursdays evenings you can pick up excellent Cornish Curry co. takeaway.
The Old Inn provides good traditional pub meals.
Excellent stressless family holiday.
Cottage was warm and cosy even when weather was freezing.
Owners very helpful.

Step out of Island View directly on to the harbour, beach area and direct access to the South West Coastal Path for some amazing hikes and wonderful cliff top walks leading to other stunning beaches and coves. Mullion Cove is ideal for swimming and family picnics on the small beach in front of the apartment. At low tide you can explore the rock pools and other sandy beaches by walking through a short cave. You couldn't ask for more!!! Our guests return again and again.............
