Chalet
ChyAnTowan is a two bedroom self-catering chalet in the sand dunes. It's just a five minute walk to Hayle beach and a 10 minute walk into Hayle town along the riverside.Just a 15 minute drive to St Ives. Free wifi. A patio door leads onto a large enclosed veranda. We can provide a cot to replace one of the single beds, if required, at no extra cost, though you would need to bring your own cot bedding. A highchair can also be provided. Bedding is provided for the beds though you need to bring your own shower/beach towels. There is a picnic bench and chairs on the veranda. There is a local shop and the Bluff public house within walking distance. We welcome a maximum of two well-behaved medium sized dogs. There is a £25 charge per dog per stay ie. NOT per week but to cover your whole stay.

Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay in the ChyAnTowan chalet, it was spotlessly clean, tastefully furnished & very comfortable. The site is beautifully maintained & the beach, which is only a few minutes walk away, is spectacular. We would definitely stay here again & highly recommend it. A big thank you to Olwyn & Steve for the delicious cream tea on arrival!

The best week of the year!
Second time stay.. was everything we remembered and more! Amazing little chalet well equipped with everything we needed. Amazing walks for the dog and already booked for next year.. let the countdown begins, can't wait.

Holiday heaven
Everything you could want in a rental plus more that you do not expect all the extras are a welcome treat making the HOLIDAY start as soon as you get here. Friendly welcome accomadation comfortable and clean. Would definitely return again.

What a fantastic week we have had we were welcomed by the owners & made to feel very much at home. The chalet was very clean & had everything we needed. We will definitely be returning & have already recommended to family & friends.

Great place to stay
What a lovely chalet. We were greeted by the owner on arrival to a very friendly welcome and a yummy cream tea. We have stayed on the Towan's for a few years now and we have now found the perfect chalet. There is everything you need here and very dog friendly too. Our two doggies loved it. If you have never been to the Towan's to stay before you will not be disappointed. The view's are the best in Cornwall when you are on the coast path. It takes my breath away each time I see the view. Hayle is a lovely town and is easily accessed by the coast path within 10 minutes. If you choose to eat out then you could always walk to the Bluff Inn which is a few minutes walk away with amazing views overlooking St Ive's bay or a 10 minute walk is the Bucket of Blood Inn. This is a fantastic place and area. Have booked the chalet again for next year.

Perfect quintessential holiday chalet
Chy an towan is a gorgeous little seaside chalet. Immaculately presented, and equipped with all the essentials. Our holiday started with a very warm welcome from Olwyn and a Cornish cream tea - absolutely perfect.

Great chalet in beautiful surroundings.
Well equipped modern chalet in a beautiful area. Close to stunning beaches and just minutes away from St.Ives (20 mins by bus)The washing machine is a great advantage, especially if you are staying with children.

A real little jewel among the dunes.
This chalet is modern, attractive and comfortable, provides everything you could need. The location is fantastic, next to the best beach anywhere, but peaceful too. Within easy reach of lots of great places. You should book without delay!

Good stay

Riviere Towans is adjacent to Hayle Beach with its 3 miles of golden sands stretching across St Ives Bay to Godrevy. The chalet is situated among the sand-dunes and ideal for a quiet holiday. Amenities within a short walk include the Bluff Public House, a local shop and several children's play areas. Ideal for walking and cycling. Other attractions within an hours drive include The Eden Project, National Maritime Museum at Falmouth, St. Michael's Mount in Marazion, Tehidy Country Park, Fal River Boat trips, Flambards, several National Trust gardens.
Getting around
There is a direct bus service (A4) from Riviere Towans to St. Ives during the peak summer months. The T1 bus service runs from the center of Hayle to Penzance. TheT2 bus service runs from the center of Hayle to St. Ives. The center of Hayle is a pleasant 10 minute walk from the chalet along the riverside quay.

How to get there
M5 from Bristol to Exeter and then the A30 to Loggans Moor roundabout at Hayle. Leave the roundabout at the Hayle exit, go straight over two mini roundabouts and after 300 metres take a turning right signposted 'The Beaches'. You will go past Phillack Church and The Bucket of Blood pub. Then after 400 metres take a turning on the left, after a sharp right-hand bend, into Riviere Towans Chalet Camp. Continue on the road for 300 metres and ChyAnTowan is a pink chalet on your right.
