A beautiful character cottage with plenty of charm and a delightful little garden. There is an open plan living area downstairs with stunning decor and comfortable furnishings. Upstairs is a decadent bathroom with a claw footed slipper bath, perfect for soaking away the cares of the day. The double aspect master bedroom has a 5' double bed and superb rural views and the bunk bedroom provides ample space for the kids. The whole cottage provides an ambience of regency relaxation and countrified elegance. Larger groups can also book with Cobbetts, the main house next door, to provide a combined capacity of 12. It also has a great playground and the large car park is free of charge. The North Coast with its captivating dramatic scenery, including cliff top walks and glorious sandy beaches for surfing, dog walks and family fun, is a short drive away, as is Bodmin Moor with Cornwalls highest point Brown Willy just a mile from Roughtor which has a large amount of bronze age and Neolithic monuments. Accommodation Ground floor: Enters into a small hall with door to downstairs shower room with WC and hand basin and further door into open plan kitchen / dining and living area with comfortable sofas, dining table and chairs and fully equipped kitchen area with decorative range cooker and all necessary appliances, stairs to the first floor. First floor: Stairs open onto landing with bookcases and doors to: Master bathroom with slipper bath, WC and hand basin. Bunk bedroom with storage and rural views. Master bedroom with 5' bed, double aspect with rural views and storage. Exterior: Charming, small, well maintained garden, fully enclosed by a stone wall with exterior furniture. Facilities & Services Heating is via central heating accompanied with under-floor heating in the kitchen and living area. The kitchen is fully fitted with a range of units. There is an electric fan oven, a microwave, an electric hob, dishwasher, full range of top quality pans and utilities; toaster, kettle, espresso / filter coffee machine, fridge / freezer, combined washing machine and tumble dryer. The lounge area has a flatscreen digital Smart TV with freeview & Blu-ray DVD player, CD & Radio. There is free WiFi at the property. There is an iron & ironing board. There is a hairdryer. A cot, highchair and stair gate are available upon request. Miscellaneous Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and beach towels are all included. Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at an additional charge of £25 per dog per week on condition that they are kept downstairs and not left alone at the property. Regrettably no smoking is allowed. There is private off-road parking for one car. General Booking Information Arrival / Departure is normally a Saturday.
