Lofty Haven in Hebden Bridge Centre

Condo/Apartment -
1 Bedroom , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 2
Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire, England
This is a beautiful, one bedroom apartment in the centre of Hebden Bridge. Light and airy with many interesting beams and angles. Tucked away at the top of a converted hotel, this apartment is a haven of peace and tranquillity. A lift and short flight of stairs provides easy access.
A long hall leads to a huge living room which is flooded with light. There are 2 large, comfortable sofas and a dining table. The TV has Freeview channels and there's a DVD player and a radio. On the bookcase you will find games, jigsaw puzzles, books and dvds. Occasional tables and soft lighting add to the calm ambience.
A short flight of stairs gives access to the quirky, cosy bedroom with hanging rail and plenty of drawer space, bedside tables and lamps. There is also large desk/workspace area.
Off the hall is the well appointed kitchen with electric...

About the neighborhood
Hebden Bridge is a lovely market town in the heart of the Pennines. Known for it's quirky, independent shops and artistic atmosphere, there's always something going on. Almost every weekend will be some festival or other from piano to Burlesque, Steampunk to beer. In June we have a wonderful Arts Festival and the Handmade Parade, which needs to be seen to be believed. We have a fabulous cinema and the very well respected Trades Club, a small venue for live music. There are countless coffee shops, restaurants and bars. And of course glorious countryside and canal on the doorstep!
Just up the hill is Heptonstall, a very ancient village often used in tv and films.
Getting around
The apartment is a 5 minute walk from the train station. Trains run directly to Manchester and Leeds.
We have a good bus network, one of the most popular routes being the Bronte bus to Haworth, home of the Bronte sisters.
