About the neighborhood

Eden is located just outside of the colorful San Juan del Sur. San Juan del Sur is a small town located in a horseshoe bay with lots of restaurants and cafe’s. From a peaceful homebase in the countryside you’re only a 10 minute taxidrive or a 30 minute walk away from town. Experience the best of both worlds! Eden looks out over Nacascolo Bay, which is a 15 minute walk. It’s a beautiful bay to walk around and relax. To the multiple surf beaches around San Juan del Sur we organise surf trips.

Getting around

Taxi A taxi from San Juan del Sur to Eden will cost around $10 one way depending on time of day and number of people. Car There are many car, quad and motorbike rental companies in town. We have private, secure and free parking and you don’t need a 4x4 to get to our property. Just before you enter San Juan del Sur, you turn right in the directions of the nothern beaches Playa Maderas, Marsella and Majagual. This road is called ‘La Chocolata’. Follow this road for approximately 7 minutes and you will find yourself in the area called Nacascolo. We are located 200 meter passed the old water tank and wind pump on your right hand side, before Cala Azul development.

How to get there

Walk through our garden to our rancho, our shared space, where you can hang out and enjoy the view over the Nacascolo Bay. In the rancho we serve family style breakfast and dinners. Our fruits and veggies are all local and some of them even come out of our own garden. To tread lightly on the environment all of our food is vegetarian. You do not have access to the kitchen to cook your own meal, enjoy the break and let us cook for you. Let us surprise you how creative we can be with a healthy and fulfilling plant-based meal.
