Off the beaten path with its own cozy cabin feel.
Not too far from LaPine but far enough away to be in nature. Each room has its own kitchenette. Trip check asked about a desk. It has a four person dining table which works fine as a desk. Lots of features including hot tub under covered porch, gas fire place. Large tiled walk in shower with more knobs then I knew what to do with. This room has a California king so its longer than most hotels, great for tall people, and makes it feel more like home. Owners are nice. Nice change from the commercial hotel chains. If you like motorcycles, there is parking and they have several classics on display. No beach as trip advisor asked but there is a pond with small bridge you can see from the hot tub and back porch. Great place to stay if you like something that is more of a home than a hotel room.

Yes, this is home away from home, not a motel room. On 1.5 forested acres, with few neighbors and no traffic or streetlights, you can usually enjoy stars at night and hear the breeze through the trees. There is public access to the Little Deschutes River within walking distance, to float or cool off on a hot day (not on site.) More than a one night stay is recommended to enjoy so many things to do near. The outdoors at your front door we say. Thank you for the nice review. Travel well!

Motorcycle trip
Cute little place to stay on our motorcycle trip. Quiet and peaceful and nicely decorated. Had pretty much everything we needed. Removed from town but not too far to get there if you need things. Hosts were very pleasant and they also rent motorcycles if you aren't on your own.

Yes, rent and ride packages (lodging + motorcycles) and tours (recommended or guided) are popular Spring - Fall. Rent a bike you'd love to own like the rare 2015 Norton Commando 961SE or BMW S1000R. Bikes rent separately for a day or more. Eternal motorcycle enthusiasts, the stable has Harleys, Kawis, Ducatis and more. Keep the shiny side up and we hope to see you again. Thanks for the kind words.
