Very disappointed with accomdatios
The area is very nice, well kept and inviting. The cottage we rented, 2 bedroom, looked nice on the outside however it was apparent that the inside had not been maintained. The air conditioning was inadequate to cool the upstairs, the sewer/drain backed up multiple times, the kitchen was poorly equipped for cooking, the kitchen sink faucet was near falling off, kitchen cabinet doors were nearly falling off and the kitchen countertops were dirty. Not enough bath towels. I sent a review to Lake Stay with my concerns. I received a call the next day from a “lady”who proceeded to tongue lash me over my apparent stupidity in being unaware that they had on-site maintenance personnel who could have solved all those problems in a jiffy during our 3 night stay. Very rude and inappropriate response to my concerns. Asked for a refund and she responded “oh you are one of those”. Customer service is not a strong point. Most likely we landed in a room rental with poor upkeep. Not my problem. I’m sure there are some nice rentals there but I will not be returning with level of customer service,

Disappointed
Over priced!if your purpose is to have a peaceful retreat away from city this is not the time. Lots of construction going on !.. very loud !.. you can't enjoy a cup of coffee on the porch with all the banging !read the fine print on rules . I had a massive heart attack 2 months ago and planned a family vacation there for my birthday for sentimental reasons My son brought his little pomarian they were there for a few hours visiting and were asked to leave which we respected their wishes ..my deposit was kept because my son dropped by to visit , I was threaten they would charge me more than the $250.. look out for sharp objects in your beds, the house I rented was dirty had hand prints on the walls , only one tv worked the other tv in bedrooms did not .. you are being watched which was very uncomfortable..
Positive Note: the mia 's pizza was amazing !
The overlook To lake is beautiful but it sets away from community .
I will not recommend to friends nor go back not for me !sad experience I tried to reason with hostess which she admitted it was her fault too but had no choice to keep my deposit as well as ruined my family time!:(
So if your a pet lover .. do not bring your pet at ALL even to visit
