A large deck overlooks a meadow and wooded hillside. The deck is furnished with rocking chairs, picnic table, sound system, and propane grill.
Enjoy a campfire (firewood provided) under the stars while planning the next day's adventures in the Hocking Hills.

The amenities were amazing. The bed was awesome. I can’t say enough about the cabin and property. We are definitely planning on coming back in the spring or summer. Loved my whole trip.

Beautiful, comfortable and clean!
Beautiful and clean cabin. We had everything we needed! We have two young daughters and a dog and everyone raved it’s one of our best vacations ever!

Shadyside Cabin at Marsh Hollow is amazing!
Beautiful cabin, excellent craftsmanship! This is an Amish built luxury cabin and it is amazing, one of our guests is an architect and he was in awe with how the cabin was built. Other than that, this cabin is a perfect example of a getaway place for relaxation, comfort, enjoyment and peace.
We had an excellent time, we wished we had booked a longer stay because the time just flew by. Hot tub is huge, easily accommodating 4 people. Backyard is a huge field with a fire pit which we did not use unfortunately because of the weather (rain and very cold). There is a little bridge crossing a small stream that leads to trails in the woods, which we saw multiple people using throughout our stay.
I cannot say enough about how nice this cabin is and we will definitely be looking at staying there again in the future.

Beautiful cabin, excellent location
We recently booked Shadyside Cabin for two nights. The cabin itself was just lovely, very clean, well-stocked, and in a secluded location. The hot tub was clean and hot, beds were comfortable, furniture could've been a little better but it was good for a rental. We made a fire (firewood provided, which frequently isn't provided), enjoyed the bridge and stream and trail on the property, and just had a relaxing time. Very close to lots of hiking and even had a few restaurants and grocery stores not too far away. Will definitely book again if in the area! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Will book this cabin again on future trips to Hocking Hills!
We booked this cabin because of its easy access to the breathtaking trails of Hocking Hills. What we did not expect was to enjoy our time at the cabin just as much, if not more, than hiking! It is obvious that Shadyside is well taken care of. This is a cabin in the woods, but it did not smell like a dusty, stale, unused cabin. The cabin was spotless, smelled fresh, and the furniture was comfortable and cozy. We gladly used the firepit every night to roast marshmallows and hotdogs. The Adirondack chairs were put to great use for star gazing well into the night. The property has its own private trails to explore. The staff (Mr. John) was available for any questions that we had. He provided us with a park map and a welcome folder that was full of useful information for visitors. The kitchen was fully stocked with any kind of pot, pan, or dish you would need. The bathrooms were larger than expected and the beds were quite comfortable. I would not hesitate to recommend this cabin.

What a gorgeous setting and beautiful cabin!
We stayed here very last minute and really enjoyed everything about this setting and the cabin itself. Equally, we appreciated the communication with the property manager. The privacy out back is what drew us here and it lived up to everything we hoped it would be. The rooms were clean and very spacious, not overly crowded or over-furnished...it was just perfect. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The only drawback is the view out each window was so stunning that I had a hard time concentrating on work at the dining room table. :) This was such a good thing! And to stay here just when the leaves were starting to turn made it even more special...this home is completely surrounded by woods and real beauty. The hot tob was level 10 amazing especially at night under the stars. I have already recommended this cabin to so many people.

Beautiful place!
We rented all 3 cabins (Shadyside Pinewood and the Cottage) for a family get together and in remembrance of a family member who recently passed away. The cabins were far enough apart for serenity, yet close enough for us all to gather. All 3 were very clean and the property was beautiful. I am so glad we rented at Marsh Hollow and will definitely be a returning customer.

Beautiful
We spent a long weekend in the cabin and is was so nice and quiet . We used the gas grill several nights and it was great to have. The hot tub was relaxing as well. We even had a chance to pop some popcorn over the fire pit. It was close to Old Man’s Cave and close to the Rock House so had a chance to hike a bit. We really enjoyed our stay!

Perfect getaway
Perfect getaway with our little family. It snowed almost 4 inches and the view was just breathtaking! Very clean and cozy. Book this place, you won't regret it!

Shadyside Cabin is located on a rural township road about 7 1/2 miles southeast of Laurelville, OH, in the beautiful Hocking Hills area. It's an easy drive to all the Hocking Hills parks and nature preserves. Laurelville offers a grocery store, gas station, post office, hardware store, multiple restaurants and many other services.
The Marsh Hollow property indluces Shadyside Cabin, sleeping six; The Cottage, sleeping 4; and Pinewood Cabin, sleeping 4. Great for small family reunions where you want to have space of your own, but within walking distance of other family members!

Most guests will travel vis US 33 or US 23. Detailed driving instructions will be provided after final payment. In the event of snow and/or ice, guests should not follow directions that route them on Wagner Rd. between State Route 180 and the cabin location. This route crosses a steep ridge (Thompson Rd.).
