Heaps of space, storage shelves, common room with ocean view, snack and mini bar. When you book the Spa Family Suite you essentially get the whole upstairs area - two adjoining rooms, own bathroom with spa bath, shower, restroom, common room, private dining table with ocean view, snack bar facilities, mini bar and couch and chairs to relax in. Its like a private upstairs studio perfect for the family or any group of 4 travellers. You may also have access to the downstairs dining room, lounge room, sunroom and rear patio deck and bbq area, extensive lawns and gardens. Full or partial access to the downstairs facilities will depend on whether the Ground Floor Pastel Studio Suite is occupied or not. Quite, safe, secure parking and just a 3 minute walk to Penguin shops and lovely beach. Main transport is by car, but there is a bus service, with a bus stop at bottom of our driveway. Just 30 minutes from Devonport ferry terminal and beautiful coastal drives to Burnie and Ulverstone.More

Interaction with guests
When you arrive, most likely there will be someone to greet you and show you your room, hand you your keys (room and front door) and give you a quick tour of the house. Otherwise you will be sent a code to open a key safe attached to the front door and you will find helpful instructions waiting for you on the foyer reception desk. One of your hosts will normally be on the premises (but out of your way) during your stay and able to answer any questions.

About the neighborhood
Penguin is a quaint idyllic seaside village in NW Tasmania. It has a beautiful coastline and you can drive along the coastal route from Ulverstone all the way to Burnie. It is home to fairy penguins and there are certain places along the coast where you can go to watch the Penguin parents come ashore to their colonies each night to feed their young. Penguin's main asset is its crescent beach and its beach promenade. On Main Road there are two small super markets, some small curiosity shops, a number of cafes, a news agency, a chemist, a medical centre nearby and a gas station to fill up your tank. Don't miss the beautiful short coastal drive from Penguin to nearby Ulverstone. In reception you will find many brochures and maps to help you.
Getting around
When you arrive, most likely there will be someone to greet you and show you your room, hand you your keys (room and front door) and give you a quick tour of the house. Otherwise you will be sent a code to open a key safe attached to the front door and you will find helpful instructions waiting for you on the foyer reception desk. One of your hosts will normally be on the premises during your stay and able to answer any questions.
