Wonderful Apartment in a lovely little town
We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of March and had a lovely time. The apartment is superb... clean, comfortable, well equipped and most importantly lovely and warm, which was essential as the weather had turned and we even had snow flurries! Jan was very helpful and even texted to say we could arrive early and depart late, which we thought was very kind, as many renters are very strict about timings. This is an excellent alternative to staying in Stratford-upon-Avon and has regular buses, so you can park in the secure gated parking and take the bus or train into Stratford. We would definitely book the apartment again.

Beautiful cozy apartment in a beautiful location
This was our first stay at the George and Dragon, having stayed at the Little George which is in the same location, both are well equiped, cozy, spotlessly clean, set in the heart of Henley in Arden.
We could not fault our stay and could not fault Jan who has been our contact for bookings for a few years now.
I would highly recommend The George and Dragon, it was a pleasure to stay in December 2021, we will be booking again for 2022.

George & Dragon A Real Gem
Had a wonderful stay at the beautifully appointed & equipped George & Dragon. The apartment is in an ideal location in the centre of Henley-In-Arden with pubs, shops, restaurant’s and takeaways all within a few minutes walk. As mentioned the apartment is modern, cosy with every home comfort. Henley-In-Arden is a great base to stay with many National Trust properties within a 30 minute drive. The George & Dragon is highly recommended and we look forward to visiting again.

Great Apartment for Holidaying
This was a really great apartment to stay in for a holiday. The decor and furnishings are 5 star quality yet it's still a comfortable and inviting space to spend time in. Coming back to the apartment after a day out sightseeing in the stunning surrounding area was always a joy. We highly recommend the George and Dragon apartment.

QUAINT AND COMFORTABLE IN PICTURESQUE VILLAGE
We had a wonderful stay at Little George. The apartment was cosy, comfortable, clean and very close to all amenities. Magnificent shower (best we've ever been in). Henley In Arden is a beautiful little village with everything you need in walking distance - pubs, restaurants, shops and the famous Henley in Arden ice cream shop - delicious!! An enjoyable evening at the White Swan Hotel is a must if you enjoy a good quiz night. The flowers all along the High Street were magnificent. Plenty of Magpies and a little squirrel which can be seen from the kitchen window. A really memorable stay which we can certainly recommend.

Little Jewel....
Thank you so much to Jan and the team at Exclusively Warwickshire for a great stay in this beautiful apartment in Henely. Couldn't fault if; it had everything we needed, and is beautifully furnished and equipped. Henley is a lovely friendly little town, with a great selection of pubs and restaurants - definitely worth visiting if you can! Jan is so knowledgeable about the area, and has great ideas for things to do and see!

A real hidden gem in a beautiful, heritage listed high street
This was a fantastic find for our 4 week business trip in Henley in Arden. Located slap bang in the middle of the picturesque High Street, with an amazing array of pubs and restaurants on the doorstep, as well as lovely country walks to take. Only 4 stops on the train to Stratford upon Avon, and 36 minutes by train to Birmingham this location offers everything you could wish for. We didn't have a car but there is a car space. The apartment has been furnished to an extremely high standard including the high spec appliances, and is extremely comfortable, We consider ourselves very fortunate to have been able to call this home for the month of August, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and stay again if returning to Warwickshire where there are so many lovely spots to explore.

Fantastic Henley in Arden could give Stratford upon Avon a run for its money!
This apartment is wonderful and in a fabulous location just off the High Street with the bonus of secure parking too. This apartment's fixtures and finish are so good it's hotel standard! Little George is tucked away to the rear of the magnificent George House (so very private and quiet) but just seconds away from all the action!
Henley in Arden is a great place for a relaxing weekend break – lots of lovely high quality shops, welcoming pubs and restaurants to sample and really easy to get to Stratford-upon-Avon by quick bus or train journey. Lots of lovely walks nearby too. We have had such a brilliant time!

Location, Location, Location! - Lively Henley in Arden provides the perfect base from which to explore Shakespeare’s England, with Stratford upon Avon and Warwick just a 15 minute drive away. This stunning town with its mile long high street is considered by many historians to be one of the most significant roads in England, thanks to its wonderful array of well-preserved houses, most of which date back hundreds of years. The town boasts a superb selection of places to eat and drink, along with an array of independent shops and boutiques.
The villages surrounding Henley offer a further fantastic selection of gastro pubs and restaurants – if you appreciate fine food in a lovely setting then you really will be spoilt for choice!
Getting around
Should you so wish you can leave your car behind in our secure parking and hop on the X20 bus into nearby Stratford upon Avon, or take a five minute walk to the station to take the train to Stratford upon Avon (15 minutes) or Birmingham (30 minutes) or travel via Wilmcote (home of Mary Arden's Farm) to Warwick .Henley in Arden is a beautiful historic Warwickshire town which is easy to reach from the M42, M40 and M5 motorways.
The George & Dragon is just 25 minutes drive the Birmingham International Airport (BHX) and a 90 minutes drive to London Heathrow Airport.
Visit Warwickshire and you’ll be immersed in history and stunning countryside, with more attractions and leisure destinations then you’ll ever have time to visit!
