Birthday surprise.
Our stay in Church Cottage was for a birthday during our stay the cottage gave us so much we were able to have family and friends come and go swapping over during the 10 days stay we had it was home from home with a little extra. We wanted for nothing during our stay the cottage had everything everyone who stayed and were party to the birthday surprise left with a huge smile all went away feeling relaxed and happy the cottage played a big part of that. Beadnell village such a great location to either take in the local scenery walk along the local beaches just walk to the beach turn left 5 miles walk come across one of the best sea castles in England Bamborough stunning views from the beach. On your way back call in at Seahouse village and stock up from the local butcher's we used Scotty's who have a fantastic selection of local produce. We suggest a visit to the Independent Food & Drink fabulous place great selection also in Seahouses's last but not least Beadnell Convenience Store they have everything you'll require whilst on holiday. If turn right at the beach and walk 8 miles and you'll come across another great place Craster with its little harbour call in at the local fish monger however before that you would have come across another castle Dunstanburgh the place is littered with them. Beadnell gives you so much from the local Inn's Craster Arm's the Towers hotel and don't forget the local Salt Water Cafe all great little places. The beaches are superb miles of sandy family friendly young and old alike and great for the dog walks.

Perfect stay
Church cottage is 5 mins from the beach, dogs welcome all year round . You are in easy reach of plenty of places to visit Alnwick Bamburgh .But if you just like to relax this the place to be .The space inside is really generous and the picture does not do it justice .A large living room with a fire when the weather gets chilly , but the best room in the house has to be the garden room which will be used as the main room lovely and light and so big .Upstairs is large which why we pick this cottage , it’s large enough for 3 generations to spend a week and all have their own space ,even 3 bathrooms. This is truly a hidden gem and is why we’ve been going for over 10 years.

Gorgeous, peaceful, dog-friendly cottage
We’ve had a wonderful week at Church Cottage. It’s beautifully decorated, excellently equipped and very close to the sea. It has a very safe enclosed garden which our dog loved, and an amazing master bedroom with stunning en-suite. We loved sleeping under the stars. We also felt very safe as the property was so clean and so much work had clearly been done to minimise risk of infection. We’d definitely return!

Fantastic, dog friendly, cottage.
We stayed in Church Cottage back in 2016 before the addition of the garden room and en-suite so were really pleased to be back and see the improvements. The garden room is just lovely, so light and beautifully furnished, and we spent most of our time using this room. The cottage is deceptive as it looks quite small outside but is really spacious inside. There are three public rooms so plenty of room for families or larger groups to spread out and have their own space. It was just the two of us and our dog so we were spoilt for choice! The garden is fully enclosed so perfect for dogs and Northumberland, in general, is very dog friendly. The cottage is placed in the centre of the old part of Beadnell and is just a few minutes walk from 2 dog friendly pubs with outdoor seating, a cafe, the local shop and the beach. There are so many wonderful beaches to explore and the Northumberland coast is just lovely. The owner, Tracy, is very easy to communicate with and has taken great care to ensure her holiday house is comfortable, stylish and well equipped. We’d highly recommend Church Cottage and hope to return.

Wonderful cottage
We stayed for a fortnight in this wonderful holiday cottage in order to maximise our stay after a long drive from North Norfolk. Probably the nicest cottage we have ever had, very well presented and complete with everything you could need. It easily accommodates 6/7 people/children. Lovely area with so many places to see and visit - a week wouldn't have been enough. The cottage is only minutes from the beach which the dogs loved and Beadnell is well located for seeing the North East and the Borders. We will certainly be back.

Autumn Break
Very warm welcoming feel on arrival which endured for the rest of stay. Very spacious yet cosy combining a traditional cottage feel in the original, with the modernity of a classy extension on the kitchen. It boasts every creature comfort you could need and more. Can’t wait to return.

Brilliant cottage, spacious, well-equipped and the perfect location for exploring Northumberland
This was our first visit to Northumberland, we wanted a nice cottage to stay in and this did not disappoint. In fact, it far exceeded our expectations. It's roomy, beautifully furnished and brilliantly equipped, with loads of character. In fact, the kitchen is better equipped than my own! Tracy, the owner, has thought of everything. We'd love to come back one day and would definitely stay here again. It's near a nice pub, sandy beach, handy corner shop, and there are loads of places to see and explore.

What's not to like
A beautiful, clean well equipped cottage, stunning kitchen (it's huge actually) Excellent location, virtually no vehicles, with easy parking. Lovely garden, which is safe and secure for pooches or sproglets. I think Tracy has thought of everything you could need and more. Families would be really well served, plenty of space everywhere and even a cupboard of toys (had to investigate the house fully) The extension is so light and airy we spent most of our house time in there, but if you have mixed group there's options for people to have their own space. Looking at all the radiators and log burners I don't think you would be cold in the worst of winters.
