'The Bubble' (as in Whitstabubble in case you're wondering), is the perfect holiday home. There isn't a comparable holiday house on the Whitstable market. This is simply the best! No other property has such a great combination of location and amenities.
It is situated by the beach next to the sea wall, a gate from the garden opens on to the beach. The house is a minute walk from the town centre, with it's shops, restaurants and art galleries. It also boasts a private side garden, which lets light flood into the house and is great for al fresco eating. It also has one of the biggest roof terraces of any Whitstable beach-side property, which offers fantastic sea views, great for watching the sun go down, preferably while sipping something chilled.

The house has three bedrooms, bedroom one with a king size bed , bedroom two with a double bed and a single bed , and bedroom three with two singles bed . The house benefits from two bathrooms, one on each floor, the downstairs being a wet room style, great for coming off the beach straight into a shower.
The house was rebuilt recently, to a very high spec, including solid oak floors throughout, oak doors, granite worktops, American style fridge etc etc . It has three sets of patio doors, (two patios and one roof terrace). It meets modern sound and insulation standards, and has new wiring and plumbing. All windows and doors are new and double glazed, so the house is cosy in winter.
The Bubble is one of the houses on Dollar Row, paid for by silver dollars salvaged by Whitstable divers. The diving helmet was developed in Whitstable in the 1820's.
The house is 500 yards from a golf course.

The Bubble is the perfect getaway. It is a beautiful house with all the amenities one would need. it is steps from the sea as well as the amazing Whitstable High Street. This is the second time we stay at the Bubble and enjoyed as much, if not more that the first time we stayed back in 2021.

It is excellent in every way
It was our third visit and it won’t be our last. Everything is just so welcoming, so restful, so convenient and ...well you can not fault it. So close to the beach, and the views at any time of day are to die for, and the Sunsets of which I have many pics.
Superbly equipped , it is like home but a place to be on a holiday.
Congratulations to Martin the owner fir creating the ideal holiday escape hole.

Beautiful house in perfect location
Just back from my 4th visit to the beautiful bubble. The house is spotless, fabulous and has everything you could want including a wonderful roof terrace to watch the sunsets. The beach is literally 2 seconds from the garden back gate and the town centre is a couple of minutes walk. Martin and Jo are very helpful and thoughtful. I highly recommend this property.

Just as good as on our previous visit
Read my previous review, it covers all the essentials, even in “off season” November you can on a windless, sunny as sit on the balcony enjoying the views, the sounds and nature at peace with itself. There is very much an active Whitstable to enjoy, cafes bars, restaurants, shops and a very important one the Whitstable Museum on the High street, small but very informative and well worth an hour or so browsing the many artefacts, and information it has to offer.
The Bubble is joyous to wake up to with the vista from the Sitting room area, to look at the really!!! Amazing sunsets, to walk 150m to the Pub on the beach for a drink and food, and to feel comfortable, warm , relaxed and at peace with the world.
It is a place we will return to in the near future, as a holiday home and as a town to relax in for a few days.
Parking is fine in the streets a very short walkable distance away, you have an hour in the street itself while loading and unloading and the car park just up the road by the beach at £2.50 per hour I think is ok for occasional visits, overnight seems to be £2.00 but I think you have to start paying fully after 8.30am. Just for info it’s not a problem at all.
Jo, the very helpful Person who manages the property is exactly that if there is a problem.
It’s a place we will return to

Simply wonderful
The Bubble is perfectly located - a gate from the garden straight on to the beach, walking distance from the harbour and the high street, and a car park only 50 yards away. This is a terrific family house - roomy, comfortable and bright with a lovely garden that can easily sit 6 for dinner - as can the dining room, very well equipped kitchen, but the real bonus is a first floor living room that looks out over a marvellous terrace and straight on to the sea. Lovely Jo met us on arrival - super helpful and friendly (and had left the place spotless), Martin had communicated brilliantly and was great about letting our (smallish friendly and super clean) dog stay, and suffice to say within a few hours of arriving we had already rebooked for the spring!

The Perfect Bubble!
If you are looking for somewhere to stay in whitstable, look no further, we absolutely loved our stay here, place was lovely and clean, the beach was at the back of house although it was a stone beach we did venture into Margate, but this was short drive away. the ambiance is lovely, plenty of space and well equipped home with amazing sea views.
Parking was a bit of nuisance at times as we went out & about but at night we parked at beach car park overnight that was great only £2 for a night.
We ate in Zizzi which was lovely. Everything is genuinely on your door step, local Sainsbury’s, Iceland etc
If you want nice beach walks it’s lovely at night to stroll along, also ten pin bowling and swimming pool short walk up the road.
Such an amazing holiday
Thank you again

Beautiful Cottage
Bubble is very modern and comfortable, the pictures don't do it justice. We loved sitting on the roof terrace with the views of the sea. Whitstable has lots of lovely cafes and restaurants, we will have to come back to try those we missed!

Absolutely fantastic place!
What you read about the Bubble is 100% true. What you will see is exactly the same as the pictures. No photo shot taken place here! It is perfectly placed for everything and you will not want for a thing. The only negative is the parking as parking in Whitstable is obviously at a premium. We factored this in to our trip and 4 adults came in just one vehicle, so sharing the cost of parking at Keams Yard, just a short walk away.

Beautiful house in perfect location
Our second visit to the beautiful bubble was as perfect as the first. The house has everything you could want. It is a few steps from the beach and a 2 minute walk into the town centre. The roof terrace is the perfect location to enjoy the amazing sunsets. House is immaculate. Can't fault a thing! We will definitely go back again.

What a gem
Fantastic seafront location, right on the beach and only a couple of minutes walk to Whistable high street. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within walking distance. A large well equipped kitchen and the house is clean and modern. Martin and Jo give plenty of advice about where to park, eat, visit etc and respond quickly to any queries

Whitstable is a charming seaside town. It gets its character from the fact that it has a working harbour and is a proper town. It doesn't have a sandy beach or amusement arcades. It does have some great restaurants and pubs.
There is trendy shopping on Harbour street, with its chi chi shops and art galleries. Then there is the High Street for the things you do need. Some of the shops seemingly haven't changed since the fifties.
You can buy some nice fish at the Harbour, and of course whitstable is famous for its Oysters.
There are lots of nooks and crannies to explore including the famous smugglers alleyways. No visit to Whitstable is complete without going down Squeeze Gut Alley.
There is a lively music scene in Whitstable, and various festivals throughout the year, including the famous Oyster Festival.
