Super apartments, great view
We have stayed at Marinus a few times now and recently stayed for a week at 30 Marinus. The apartment is super, well equipped, modern and with a great view and a balcony to watch the boats come and go. Marinus is in a great situation being a short walk into town and also close to the floating bridge and also has private parking. A great base for a holiday on the Island and will certainly book again and even this is made easy by the always helpful Graham and Kim at Cowes Holiday Homes.

Enjoyable stay
We have stayed in many of the Marinus apartments over the last few years and found this apartment to be one of the best. We were as usual pleasantly greeted by Graham who is always easily contacted if needed. We found the apartment very clean and the super king bed was very comfortable. We never get bored with the view as there is always something going on and it’s an easy walk into town to the many restaurants, pubs etc. Would definitely recommend.

Great location and lovely apartment
The apartment has a great view of the harbour for all the marine activity - kept us occupied for hours boat / people watching. It is very comfortable, spacious and well equipped and only a short walk into Cowes. Graham is very helpful and we had a lovely relaxing holiday. Highly recommended.

The flat was clean and the view of the sea, boats were perfect for an morning or evening tea. We had a lovely time, felt like home away from home.

Excellent accommodation and gorgeous island
Just returned from a few days at Marinus view at Cowes. Apartment spotlessly clean, well sanitised and very well laid out, couldn't fault it. Gorgeous views over the sea, could sit watching the boats for hours.Really close to ferry and town centre. Lots to see and do, especially outside activities, which is great in these very sad, uncertain times. Visited the Needles, Shanklin Chine, Model village, beaches, piers, IOW Pearl, Ventnor, Ryde, Osbourne House, Quarr Abby .... Will definitely return

Comfortable, relaxing week.What a view!
This flat is very well-equipped and comfortable to stay in. It is well located with all the amenities of Cowes very nearby. The most amazing aspect is the view! Even in November there was something going on on the water the whole time. You can see everything from the sofa! The very large bed was very comfortable- I slept better there than I do at home, despite having a nasty virus. We were a bit disappointed with the Isle of Wight generally but decided that Cowes was the best place to stay out of all the towns and villages.

2nd visit to No 40 and was still well furnished clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the Solent and harbour. So much movement from a small yacht to larger vessels. Great

Great outlook.
This very well appointed apartment is in superb condition, and has a decent-sized balcony where four people have ample room to relax at the two tables. From there, you can spend happy hours watching yachts and cruisers entering or leaving the marina, which the balcony overlooks. We would certainly recommend it, and will probably go back when we can afford it, as it is rather expensive!.

Great place to stay
The flat exceeded our expectations. It was modern, spacious, comfortable, clean, well equipped and ideally situated overlooking the harbour, with views across the solent. It was fascinating to just sit on the balcony and look at the ferries, cruise ships, small boats and industrial vessels going past. Yet for all the activity going on, it was quiet. It had its own dedicated parking bay in a secure car park and a lift. Couldn'y have asked for better.

Fantastic apartment overlooking the marina
The apartment did not disappoint and lived up to our expectations! The location was perfect, just a short walk into town where there are many restaurants, cafes and pubs to choose from. The Irish music night at Cowes Ale House was a fun evening! Marinus apartment was well equipped and very comfortable - the shower in the en suite is wonderful! The balcony was a bonus and we enjoyed sitting outside with a cold drink watching the boats passing. All in all, Marinus is a great place to stay.

About the neighborhood
Cowes has been seen as a home for international yacht racing since the founding of the Royal Yacht Squadron in 1815. The town gives its name to the world's oldest regular regatta, Cowes Week, which occurs annually in the first week of August. Cowes is a gateway town for the Isle of Wight. Travellers to Southampton are served by a high speed catamaran passenger ferry from Cowes known as the Red Jet. Southern Vectis route 1 is the main bus service in Cowes, serving the Red Jet terminal and running to Newport to take travellers on to other island destinations.. The Cowes Floating Bridge connects the two towns of Cowes and East Cowes throughout the day. It is one of a few remaining chain ferries not replaced by a physical bridge & links to the Southampton
