The whole stay exceeded expectations! The Cider House is beautiful, lovely and spacious but cosy. Very comfortable bed, stunning views, loveable llamas, welcoming hosts, only 5 min walk to village shop. Would love to go back!
Village with pubs and shop. Farm with ten acres of grounds. As well as walking (with or without our llamas), the countryside has so much to offer - canal boating at Abergavenny, a mountain railway in the Brecon Beacons, an owl sanctuary at Kington and Red Kits at Rhayader.
Take a canoe trip down the River Wye at Symond's Yat or explore the world famous book town of Hay on Wye and take in the border castles. Market towns of Chepstow, Leominster, Ludlow, Ledbury, Monmouth and ross are all worth a visit and the forest of Dean is a short drive from the fam. Nearer are the splendid churches of Dore Abbey and Kilpeck and guests could alwas try the famous Cider Trail around Herefordshire's nine working cider farms. A great place to stay for families, friends or couples wanting to get away. ...
The village of Ewyas Harold is less than half a mile down a hill and from here a local hopper bus can drop you at Pontrilas where the main line bus rout between Hereford and Cardiff passes through. Catch the X3 or X4 buses
