The Cottage is one of 6 properties, which can all be rented individually or as a group sleeping between 4 and 28 guests.

Number 3: 3 bedrooms, sleep 6 including a bunk bed
1, 2 & 4 Abbeyview Cottage: 2 x bedrooms; sleeps 4 (nos. 1 & 2 are smaller in size – we’d say they are beautifully compact and no. 4 is more spacious);

We are happy to allow dogs(there is a charge of £10 per stay) as there are an abundance of walks direct from the Cottage but they would need to be kept on a lead while around the Holiday Cottages.Also we do ask that they are not allowed in the bedrooms or on the furniture Please contact us if you require more details regarding this

Absolute waste of time extremely remote avoiding the potholes in the speed humps down the lane. If you even find the place would highly recommend staying elsewhere sadly the management were rude and told lies not exactly the place that you’d want to stay if you want to relaxing time away, avoid it all costs.

This Guest did not book through Holiday Letting but through another agent. The damage left behind was so bad we had to close the cottage for a time.

Fabulous place
Have been here 3 years for a break. Apartment is very clean and very well stocked. It is perfectly placed for discovery the area. Battle Abbey is not far and it is easy to walk to. Battle is a great village with plenty of places to eat if you don't want to cook and 2 supermarkets if you do. It is very quiet and peaceful . Looking forward to going back again.

Perfect
Perfect accommodation and location! Stayed for a short break over New Year, cottage looked lovely with a festive wreath on the door and beautifully decorated Xmas Tree. It was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the fact you could walk into Battle in about 10 mins and that the cottage was well located for Hastings and Rye.

A perfect break
Having stayed at Coopers Cottages in Bodiam we knew we had high expectations for our 1st stay at Abbey View cottages and we weren't disappointed.
The cottages at Abbey View are perfect for a short break with luxurious fittings and everything you could need to make for a very comfortable stay.

EXCELLENT HOLIDAY ACCOMODATION
Perfect peaceful place to spend your holiday. Countryside setting yet only a 5 minute walk into Battle town centre. The cottage was even better than described everything you need for a perfect holiday and very well presented. Would definetely stay again and highly recommended

Second Visit
This was the second time in 2 years we have travelled down to Abbey Cottages from Skelmersdale some 560 round trip. Although we previously stayed in 2017 see our review https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g503755-d11761527-r507065107-5_ABBEY_VIEW_HOLIDAY_COTTAGE-Battle_East_Sussex_England.html . We found the accommodation still of high standard and spacious, very clean and tidy. The enclosed secure garden excelalnt for the dogs. Even though we had visited most places in the area, we found more hidden gems especially the National Trust sites, we visited Bodiam Caslte, Sissinghurst Castle, Scotney Casle all excellent places to visit as well a very pleasant 12.5 mile walk around Bewl Water, a reservoir full of wildlife. On our daily walks around the farm we bumped into other local dog walkers who remembered us from our last visit, we found the locals very friendly and have good tips where to visit. A week isn’t enough and even after our second visit we still haven’t seen everything around so will probably return again. Communication with Terri was great and payment easy and instructions clear and precise. Thanks to Terrie and her team for allowing us to stay with our dogs, again.

Perfect, practical holiday home .
Ideally located on outskirts of Battle, a pretty town with 1066 battlefield and abbey al within 15 min walk. Well situated for East Sussex and Kent for longer days out.
The Cottage/bungalow is very practical and well converted from farm buildings to make a comfortable holiday home. Spotlessly clean and fitted with everything you could need. No5 is also suitable for the disabled with wide doors and large shower cubicle and direct ramp access from bedroom to garden. Dogs are welcomed and there are several walks direct from the cottages. An enclosed lawn and parking space make things even easier when many holiday cottages have no parking available. There is also a games room and information room.

fantastic accommodation
fantastic location within walking distance to Battle . Accommodation very well equipped , beautifully decorated , exceptionally clean . If we lived nearer we would definatley visit again .

Kent and East Sussex Railway from nearby Bodiam to the old market town of Tenterden, Also Bodiam Castle.
Perfect location if you are walking the 31 mile 1066 country walk.
Bedgebury pineatum is just half an hour away where for just £10 and pack your own picnic, you can park your car , hunt the Gruffalo, find the stick man or cycle all day long (GO APE is within the park extra charges apply)
Bewl Water only 10 miles with activities all year round.
Rye Harbour ,an RSPB conservation area with many birds and wildlife.
The old historic town of Rye with its cobbled streets offer an abundance of individual traders.
Sovereign Harbour (Eastbourne) is only 20 minutes drive.
This is just to name a few.“whats on in East Sussex” or“Days out in East Sussex” are good searches to help you tailor your holiday to your individual needs.
