Ideally a car would be useful to get around however there are taxi, bus and train services nearby, the nearest train stations being Northampton and Milton Keynes.
If driving:
From M1: Leave the M1 at junction 15a and take the A43 toward Towcester, after 6 miles you reach the roundabout on the A5, Turn left and head through Towcester town centre, toward Milton Keynes, on exiting Towcester you will see Towcester Racecourse on your left, you will need to take the next left hand turn toward Heathencote and Shutlanger, drive through Heathencote, then upon exiting you will pass the back entrance to Towcester Racecourse on the left, 100 meters after that on the right hand side you will see a tarmac drive leading up to the signposted self catering cottages.

From A5 Milton Keynes: Travelling North on the A5 toward Towcester/Hinckley go through the village of Potterspury, 4 miles from Potterspury just before Towcester Racecourse, you will find a right turn toward Heathencote and Shutlanger, drive through Heathencote, then upon exiting you will pass the back entrance to Towcester Racecourse on the left, 100 meters after that on the right hand side you will see a tarmac drive leading up to the signposted self catering cottages.
