If you are looking to visit The Peak District, Corner Cottage is the perfect place to stay!! The cottage is finished to a high standard with everything you need and more! Upon arrival I was hugely impressed with the cleanliness of the cottage as well as the homely sense you feel as you walk through the door. The cottage is set in a beautiful picturesque location with a local bakery and farm shop just around the corner as well as being a short drive from some of the most beautiful walks (Snake Woodland, Jacobs Ladder, Mam Tor). This was our first trip to The Peak District and we look forward to not only visiting again but to stay at this beautiful cottage.

Delighted with our stay!
The cottage is so well appointed, there is everything you could possibly need and more! The cottage has been finished to a high standard and is very well equipped and there is great attention to detail, even a welcome basket with biscuits, jam and dog treats! Plenty of space for 6 people (4 adults, 2 teenagers) and our 2 dogs. Tideswell is a beautful village and has all of the amenities required for a short break. Couldn't be happier with our stay.

Peak location, peak accommodation
Very homely stay. Perfect place to relax in the peaks but to also access all that it offers, including quality coffee right next door at High Nelly's cafe. Plenty of space for a family stay and done out to a high spec. In the unlikely event that you need to get hold of the owners, they are always available. We had our keys hand delivered by the owner, whilst having a quick bite in Tideswell omitting any time delays for handover. Thanks and we will be back in the future for sure.

Amazing cottage, highly recommend
Just returned from our second visit to Corner Cottage and had a fantastic 8 days in the Peak District. We stayed at Corner Cottage in February 2017 and had such a good time went back this February. The cottage sleeps six comfortably but there was just four of us plus our four legged friend. There was a welcome pack which was a lovely touch, clean towels and bed linen, the whole cottage had everything you could possibly need. Tideswell is a great base to explore the Peak District and we will be returning to Corner Cottage again next year. Thank you to the owners Katie and Stephen for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage.

The loveliest cottage we have stayed in. Beautifully furnished well equipped. Brilliant walking area and then to kick your boots off in the basement, and for washing the dogs in the utility room in the basement room. Lovely welcome pack, the owners really do nice touches. Having stopped at a lot of Derbyshire villages specially at new year I rate Tideswell as one of the best. Nice cosy cottage if you want to stop in and plenty of eating places if you want to go out.

Excellent cottage in a lovely location.
This was our first stay in Tideswell even though we have visited the area many times. It's a great base, close to Bakewell, Chatsworth etc. and some excellent walks. The village has everything you need, a co-op and village shop, bakery, butchers, two chip shops, three pubs and a number of cafes. The cottage itself was lovely, the best we've stayed in so far, we felt right at home from the start. It was very comfortable and cosy, had everything you'd need and was furnished to a high standard. The bedrooms in particular were very nice. The welcome pack had just what you needed to get you going, but the co-op is literally just around the corner so you are well placed for getting provisions. If it had off road parking it would have been perfect, and the steps leading up to the front door were a little awkward when loading and unloading, but not a major issue. Would definitely recommend.
