Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful
We’ve previously enjoyed several breaks with friends at the fabulous 2 bedroom apartment owned by Ros. This time just the 2 of us stayed at the latest addition to the portfolio, flat number 3, a beautiful one bedroom apartment in Ulverston.
On a grey day, Ros brightened things up when greeting us at an ever busy Ulverston train station. On arrival at the apartment we were not surprised to find a beautiful new pad for our 3 night stay. Tastefully decorated with stylish local art on the walls (we’re going to buy some for home). Main features were 2 2 seater leather sofas, wall mounted TV, high dining table with 4 chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen. The apartment is nicely wooden floored throughout with a tiled floor in the cool bathroom. A good sized bedroom with a walk in dressing room. 5 star.
Ros also provided us with updates on Ulverston developments since our last stay. We tried the recommended new Bici restaurant on the Wednesday, we both loved it. Oh, thanks for the usual breakfast and biscuit provisions Ros.
A truly wonderful apartment in a great location (in our favourite UK destination) helped make our 3 days of walking, eating and drinking truly fantastic.
We had a great time, thank you. Look forward to staying again in 2018.

Ulverston's location on the edge of the beautiful Lake District and Morecambe Bay means there is something in the area to interest everyone of all ages and whatever the weather.
The area provides almost unlimited opportunities for the outdoor enthusiast: walking, climbing, sailing, canoeing, cycling and mountain biking are all available within easy reach of the town. Families will find plenty to do, whether it's a coastal walk and picnic, a tree top Go-Ape challenge in Grizedale Forest, a cruise on Lake Windermere or a visit to the World of Beatrix Potter or the South Lakes Safari Zoo – the options are endless!
Windermere Lake and Coniston Water are a 15 minute drive away and 30 minutes will take you to the heart of the Lake District.

Travelling by road
Leave the motorway at junction 36 and travel along the A590 for about 23 miles, following the signs for Barrow-in-Furness. As you come into Ulverston go straight ahead at the roundabout next to Booths Supermarket. Continue straight ahead at the next roundabout then turn right at the next set of traffic lights( approx 200 yards). Turn immediately left into Cavendish Street. The apartments are at the end of this road on the right hand side.
Travelling by rail
Leave the station and turn left, at the top of the hill turn left again towards the town centre. Cross the main road at the traffic lights into Queen Street. The apartments are located on the right hand side on the c
