Great cottage
Beautiful cottage located down a little alley way so really nice and quiet location however right on the high street so close to shops, bars and takeaways.
Everything you need for a short stay can be found in the cottage I.e all kitchen utensils, pots pans etc and little shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom.
Lots of cleaning products are left for guests to use at their own leisure which is really great especially during current times. The bed was also really comfy and had extra blankets just incase! The outside area was lovely too and again so private.
Cottage was generally clean only one or two little things, there was quite a few cobwebs and dusty parts on the bedroom ceiling hanging above the bed and the light shade in the bedroom ceiling was covered in cobwebs too.
We also couldn’t get the fireplace to work maybe leaving an instruction card would be great.
Overall really great stay and would defiantly stay here again. Perfect for a few days away. Joanne was also so helpful and responded quick to any questions etc.
Thank you 😁

Perfect location
A perfect base for visiting Alton Towers, less than 15 mins by car. A nice village with a variety of shops close by. Parking was convenient and only a short walk away from the cottage. The cottage was perfect for 2 people, spotlessly clean and everything we needed at hand. Thank you Jo, we really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely hidden gem of a cottage
We stayed at Hidden Cottage for two nights and it was perfect. Truly hidden with excellent instructions on how to find it. Yet near all amenities in Cheadle within walking distance. The cottage was spotlessly clean, lovely decor and cosy. We visited Biddulph garden, a National Trust beautiful garden. Also Churnet Valley Railway and the nearby Froghall Wharf with excellent walks. This part of Staffordshire was new to us and we thoroughly enjoyed exploring.

A real treasure of a place to stay.
We truely loved our stay at hidden cottage, a place so cosy and inviting you will be tempted to stay put. But the pretty village and beautiful surrounding landscapes are equally inviting. The cottage was excellently equiped with everything you need, and presented to a very high standard. We would love to come back to explore the area some more.

Perfect relaxed stay
The owners have made this superb house into a georgous home. It is finished in high quality furniture and a well stocked kitchen. (A vast amount of plates, cups and cutlery.)
Our stay was to visit Alton Towers for the big yearly reunion for Alopecia UK. The distance to the park was perfect and very easy to get to. There us nothing I can say that's negative.
