Unit 8a is a fully furnished studio/efficiency. The unit has a queen size bed, a 3-seat leather couch, a small dining table with two chairs, and a private bathroom (toilet, sink and tub with shower). All dishes, pots and pans, towels and linens are provided (not Beach/Pool towels). A quiet Mini-Split AC will keep you cool at all times. Smart TV and 100 Mbit WiFi. The studio has a front porch with two chairs and a small table. It has a small front yard with tropical plants and has its own gas-BBQ grill and picnic table with a large umbrella for shade.
This unit accommodates two adults.

About the neighborhood
Our rental efficiencies are located in a home-owners park. Most of our neighbors are snow-birds, usually staying in the Florida Keys Jan-April. The area has a “vacation-like” atmosphere, everybody is there to have a good time. The area is quiet, great for fishing, bird watching, sun bathing or star gazing at night. Most restaurants and shops are located 5-10 miles away (down town Marathon).

A car is needed in order to make short daily excursions and to visit stores and restaurants.

Grassy Key is about 2 hour drive from Miami Int Airport. Depending on the time of the day, traffic can be heavy and your trip might take a bit longer.
Alternatively, if you fly into Key West, we are only a one hour drive from Key West.
