Little Paradise
This accomodation is highly recommanded. We found coffee, fruits bread and a very well equiped kitchen. The cenote pool in the really huge Garden is very special. Andrea is a very warm and friendly Person and especially her dog fortunata made me happy:=)

About the neighborhood
The town of Uayma is 7 km from Valladolid. It is a contemporary Mayan village where women walk down the street wearing their traditional hipiles. The houses are surrounded by white stones earthworks, interrupted occasionally by pink splotches Mexican or bright orange when the bougainvillea and flamboyant are in bloom. In the central square is the Temple and former convent of Santo Domingo built by the Franciscans in 1646. At 100 meters is the Uayumin-Ha cenote. The remnants of the train station in Uayma witness that once served as the main contact between the henequen haciendas, rural populations and major cities of Yucatan in the nineteenth century.
