About the neighborhood
Lots of recreational activities in the area, ranging from fishing, hiking, biking, boating, scuba diving, four wheel driving and golfing to winter activities such as skiing, snow shoeing, sledding and walks in the snow. The Sunshine Coast also offers lots of annual events, from farmer's markets, to art crawls and down hill biking events; lots to choose from.
Getting around
We suggest having a car or truck which will allow you to experience the myriad of activities and events that are up and down the Sunshine Coast. Sechelt also offers a bus to and from the ferry, but you'll need a vehicle (or taxi) to get to Tuwanek Timbers, as it's 10 km outside of Sechelt.
