painted Italian tiles, and a wood- fired pizza oven.

From the main veranda, the main lower level building can be reached by stairs or slide (kids love it!).

Villa looked really nice but unfortunately I got bed bugs - I informed the owner and she said it can’t be true because they clean everything all the time but unfortunately my doctor confirmed it’s bed bugs and I only slept in the Villa so it can’t be from somewhere else.
Gabriella couldn’t care less she just said the Villa was cheaper than others around and she can’t offer a discount or anything.
Absolutely not recommend what I have noticed about people on the island everything is new - mattress was apparently new but not from where I come from it was really used.
Really unhelpful and she said I might got it from the beach but weirdly enough my friend and I slept in the same bed and we got it.
Not recommended!

Aegean Dream
Hated to leave the beautiful Villa Arios.
It features expansive views of the majestic Aegean Sea from every area of the property, including all of the bedrooms. The owner, Gabriella, had prepared a Skiathos bible before our arrival with excellent recommendations for food, wine, beaches, boats and all other necessities that a first timer would need when coming to a new island. The day to day of the property is managed with exquisite care by Vasso who attended to our every request. Groceries were delivered ahead of time and private chef was organized for dinner on our arrival night. There is a beautiful private emerald green beach a 5 minutes walk from the house. Given that it’s up on a hill, a car is recommended, although that said —- we were able to hire a private boat to pick us up from our little beach.
Just heaven.

Fantastic home with so many positives!
What a great spot for a relaxing break!
A lovely location with panoramas galore.
The entertainment areas are special with 2 pools to choose from along with a very special secluded beach.

Dream Vacation at Villa Arios!!
I had the pleasure of staying at Villa Arios with 14 good friends for a week in May 2023 in honor of a 30th birthday celebration. From the moment I began considering booking the Villa (on AirBnB), Gabriella, our host, was the epitome of what I’d dream of for a host. She responded to my questions, repeatedly, in less than one day. As the planner for a large group of Americans traveling a long distance, combined with being unfamiliar with Greece/Skiathos, I can’t emphasize enough how much comfort and ease this brought me in the planning process. It was clear from the moment I began messaging with Gabriella that the property was very unique and that she was invested in us having a spectacular experience. The villa itself was magnificent, but as we discovered with everyone on the island of Skiathos – there is immense pride in ensuring all visitors have the best experience. About a month before our visit (we visited at the beginning of the season, so this could vary for other guests), Gabriella provided a detailed booklet of the amenities on the property – which included referrals for additional services such as grocery delivery (highly recommend) and other businesses/services we could hire for an additional cost. She also included recommendations for activities, restaurants, and more on the island (we separately hired Traditional Yacht for a private charter, which was included in the list of referrals, which I highly recommend – Konstantinos gave us an unforgettable yacht day around Skopelos). While I had done a lot of research before the trip, I really appreciated the personal touch to provide recommendations.
The property is massive, with phenomenal amenities – the two pools were perfect, with ample amounts of seating for everyone to lounge. The kitchen had everything – pots, pans, coffee maker, to name a few, but really everything you could need. We really only ate breakfast at the villa given that we were trying out as many restaurants as possible during our stay, but the pizza oven and outdoor oven would’ve made for an exceptional at-home night for a group. There’s a great seating area indoors as well as a stunning veranda with a lazy Susan (perfect for sharing!). The views are absolutely magnificent – overlooking the water, you can also see all of the planes and ferries arriving to and from the island! The rooms were all very clean, and it was very clear that there had been tremendous care in preparing for our arrival. Most of the rooms are in one row on the bottom floor, which would be great for a group, and there are also 3 rooms that are separated from the rest – the pool suite, a suite next to the kitchen, and a suite up near the entrance with a mini-kitchen (and two twin beds). This property would be perfect for a group (as it was for us) or great for a few families on vacation together. There are many common areas (veranda, pool, indoor kitchen area, living room) and also lots of little nooks and patios for alone time.
When we arrived at the villa, Gabriella and team graciously greeted us with some treats and wine and provided a tour of the property. She used WhatsApp to communicate once we were checked in – which was so helpful. When we had questions or an issue (such as how to get firewood for the pizza oven, if/where there were yoga mats on the property, etc), she responded promptly. I can’t emphasize enough how incredible her team’s hospitality is!
We only rented one car for the week and relied on cabs to take us around the island. The path to get to the villa is paved until the last stretch, where there is a bumpy dirt road (all part of the fun in my mind!). With a group, cabs are cost-friendly (if you are like me and needed an automatic transmission car) – to the town of Skiathos, it was about 20-25 euros each way, and to Koukounaries beach, it was closer to 30 euros. We also took the water taxi from the Kanapitsa port into town, which was 4.5 euros (the port is a 15-20 min walk from the Villa). Kanapitsa Beach Bar is the closest restaurant, and was absolutely delicious – a very lowkey, local feel – and is about a 15-20 minute walk, mostly downhill from the villa (keep in mind that in reverse it is a steep uphill ascent). The Villa is also a 30 minute walk from Diamanti Beach, which most people we spoke with on the island recommended as their favorite. Diamanti Beach was our favorite during our stay – we returned a couple of times – as it’s tucked away and has an incredibly fresh menu and bar. It also has a steep decline down a dirt road to get to it, but is worth the spiked heart rate!
My booking was on the early side of the season (late May), so the evenings were cooler (in the 60s), however during the day the weather was absolutely perfect for the beach. As can be expected in a warm beach area that can be humid, pack bug spray – there were critters (mosquitoes, spiders, ants) at the villa and all around Skiathos.
The most breathtaking parts of the property, are of course, the views – there isn’t a time I went out onto the patio where I didn’t snap a photo because every time was beautiful in a different way. Additionally, I don’t think the listing photos do justice for the stunning greenery on the property – even in early spring, we all enjoyed the budding flowers and plants all around the property. There’s even a little garden of plants leading up to the pool area. A short walk down a steep hill leads you to a small oasis of a private beach. In late May during our stay, there were no beach chairs on the beach, so it wasn’t one we spent a lot of time at, but it was perfect to walk down to it for a quick dip.

Absolutely Stunning
We stayed at Villa Arios Skiathos and celebrated by 60th birthday with family and friends. The weather was beautiful and the accomodation was like a dream come true. Each bedroom had its own theme and charm. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to make breakfast and also enjoyed a few bbq's. We all gathered around the outdoor table in the mornings and planned our days together.
Some days we spend down at the private beach and others by the pool. It was a perfect location with amazing views for a very special celebration. Thank you to Gabriella and her team for making this trip and stay so special for everyone. A lifelong memory....

The most magical holiday and wedding venue
The villa was everything we wanted it to be and more.
We chose this villa for its size as it can accommodate 2 families, incredible far reaching views and because it made for a wonderful wedding venue.
When I reached out to Gabriella via email she was very friendly, helpful and informative. She responded quickly to my numerous questions and gave great suggestions regarding our wedding day.
On arrival in Skiathos, Gabriella messaged to check we had landed safely and greeted us at the gates of villa Arios with a warm welcome.
We were introduced to the front of the villa and those incredible views. Wow! You really can’t appreciate the true beauty until you’re there in person. Gabriella provided wine, soft drinks and snacks at the large round table so we could relax and take it all in while she explained about the villa and the surrounding area. Gabriella showed us around the grounds and then we were left to explore on our own.
The grounds are spacious and lush. You can be close to family and friends but also have your own space. As the bride, I stayed in the master bedroom which is very large and romantic. I loved waking up to the wonderful sound of the insects and birds and the smell of the plants and sea.
The house keeper comes daily. We had 2 ladies who took it in turns and both were very nice and helpful. The day before our wedding and the day of the wedding the housekeeper (Froso) was amazing. She worked extra hard to ensure the villa was perfect inside and out for our special day. She even helped my mum and maid of honour decorate our wedding bed with fresh flowers and candles.
Villa Arios is picturesque and romantic which makes for a perfectly intimate wedding venue. All our guests were very impressed.
Gabriella arranged for some of the guests to have a massage at the villa. The lady set up outside the master bedroom. It was the perfect spot for relaxation and honestly the best massage I’ve ever had.
If you want to experience the beauty of Skiathos and make wonderful memories with friends and/or family then I would recommend Villa Arios.

Great Wedding Venue
We chose this villa for it's unique style, size of guest accommodation, wonderful location and superb views. We were even more impressed when we arrived, lush large grounds, spacious accommodation, great pool and jacuzzi and those views are truly incredible.
It made for a wonderful wedding venue which we'll remember fondly forever and I'm sure we will visit Skiathos and stay at the villa time and time again.
Gabriella our host is a lovely lady, discreet, yet friendly when she checked in and happy to help however she is able. Thanks for the wine and pastries.
If you are a large party wanting to stay together then what better than to book this villa which provides great communal spaces yet large enough for privacy and time to yourself, you'll be impressed.

Wonderful stay!
We had a brilliant time at Villa Arios. Perfect location with the most beautiful views. Great to have housekeeping everyday as well! Rooms are quirky and unique, and plenty of space for a large group travelling together.

My favorite place yet
Arriving at the villa after a long trip, we were delighted to be welcomed by the hosts that had an assortment of Greek snacks ready for us on the round table on the main terrace with drinks and refreshments! Shortly after our host gave us travel tips we were given a tour of the house- in which we were pleasantly surprised. Having seen the photos online we were looking forward to staying at villa arios but we did not realise how the villa was laid out; my friend joked “I thought we booked a villa not a resort”
The thing that made this place so special was how many activities we could do without even leaving the house! I’ve come to skiathos for 4 years in a row now and staying at Villa Arios was my favorite yet-
I loved the privacy.. my parents would relax on the hammock reading a book at one side of the villa, while the children would be playing in the upper pool area with us , some would be barbecuing and others would be having massages done on the main terrace.
One of our favorite nights was pizza night where we made home made pizza in the pizza furnace.
Walking around the peninsula in late afternoon for sunset hour and the secluded beach nearby was also part of our daily routine......
The bungalows and bedrooms as well as the shared living spaces were all cleaned daily thanks to the housekeeper.
I could not have been happier with my stay, I want to thank the host for this wonderful experience - we could really tell how much care was put in this place. The detail in every space make this place the gem it is :)
