Outstanding amongst these is the Fox and Goose in Fressingfield itself. Farmers markets are held locally every Saturday,.The immediate area around Watsons Farm is popular with cyclists for its quiet country lanes and softly undulating countryside. There is ample storage space for bikes.

Great location, lovely clean, warm and cosy house. Set in a quiet, rural area. The children loved counting the rabbits from the kitchen window! Mary was lovely and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

Having relatives almost next door plus around the corner made this place an excellent pick. Having said that I dont want to subtract away from the actual cottage and its owner at all. Both were excellent. Mary, the owner was such a lovely person and so helpful to my wife. She met us on arrival and everything was explained very...

lovely location with plenty of walks, friendly helpful owner. Within easy reach of many coastal resorts and good pubs and restaurants. Ideal for dog walkers

Comfortably furnished sitting room with log fire, and French doors onto a secluded south facing hedged garden. with barbecue and garden furniture.There is a DVD player, freeview,CD player and HI-FI Wi- Fi, and an extensive collection of books. The kitchen dining room,leads into a small lobby with a writing desk . The bathroom with shower is on the ground floor. There are steep narrow stairs to the first floor,where there is one twin bedroom, and one double. The beds have duvets and all linen is provided.

About the neighborhood
The respected Fox and Goose restaurant is in Fressingfield and has recently opened a bistro on its ground floor.Next door the Swan Inn has a good reputation for evening meals and its Sunday carvery. There is a very good village shop in Fressingfield ,open long hours and selling good local produce. Southwold, Dunwich and Walberswick are all within easy reach. Southwold is a delightful old fashioned sea side town with beach huts, a lighthouse, bookshops amd an award winning pier,. Freshly caught fish can be bought at the harbour. Walberswick on the other side of the estuary is a charming seaside village with a sandy beach and an annual crabbing competition popular with children.
