Very nice place
We had a great time and felt that the house was very well maintained. The house was stalked very well -plenty of cooking supplies, plates, utensils, etc. We thought that the house would be on the same side of the road as the beach, but it was actually on the opposite side. In other words, we had to cross S. Virginia Dare ave to get to the beach, which surprised us. There was mold on the shower liners which we didn't like. Also the beds in one room were not very comfortable. If not for these few things, we would've rated the place an a+. Outside shower, jacuzzi, 2 grills, and all balconies were very, very nice... We also loved the kitchen and family room. The dining room has a huge table that seats 14 which was great!!

Relaxing Vacation
For three of us, the house was perfect. Although only one bedroom was a master suite, we each had our own bath. With public beach access right across the street, we were able go fishing without having to drive any distance. Love the keyless entry and that we didn't have to go to the realty office to "check in". Great 2 car parking under the house, for loading and unloading. It offered nice, comfortable furniture in the TV room. Having the bath and bed linens furnished was a big plus! This may sound silly, but the colorful fish flag outside was fabulous...it's a busy road and more than once we would have driven right by the house had we not seen the fish flying from the deck!

Great Location - A Little TLC Needed
This is a great home for families as it has plenty of BR & Baths. The upstairs family room has enough seating so the entire family can be together. The hot tub was a nice feature but needs better maintenace for chemicals. Only aspect needing immediate ttention are the toilets. With signs telling you to hold the handle down to flush properly that doesn't work well with kids and this is really an inexpensive fix. Plunging toilets is not considered vacation fun.
Overall a nice and convenient house especially for elderly as the beach access is close with a level entry.

Fun and Welcoming
We rented despite a little concern about the comment below about problems with a toilet, the hot tub and a shower curtain. If you're looking into this one, you should know that we experienced none of these problems. The place is accurately described by Outer Banks Blue (the realty company) and we thought it was well-maintained even as of our late-in-the season rental week. The bathrooms and hot tub were actually immaculate. A little dust under/behind dressers and one old Cheez It on an upper deck is the worst I can say and I hesitate to even say that considering the care the owners took to make the place an enjoyable and relaxing vacation spot. We felt right at home. We had all the conveniences of home, plentiful space and a location in the center of it all. A good value. We also loved the "Pluggers" theme--it's a sweet and endearing comic strip the owners obviously have a fondness for.
