We came down after being told that Outerbanks Blue was open for business after being shut down due to Covid 19. If we didn’t come we would have lost our deposit. I stressed to them that we definitely needed the heated pool because we would not be going out to public places. Customer service sales was great in informing us about new expectations related to Covid etc. We Watched several videos featuring owner,Tim Cafferty, showing their process for cleaning due to health concerns and spread of Covid 19. We verified multiple times the pool was heated and we paid an additional 300.00 for pool to be heated due to low temps during this week. We were assured pool would be heated and house would be cleaned. When we arrived it was 58 degrees outside and pool was freezing. We gave it overnight thinking it would warm up. The Next day we realized the heater was broken. House was also covered in hand prints on all of door and windows, food was smeared still on counters that hadn’t been cleaned, parts of cookies on the floors, nothing had been swept. There were cookie crumbs on the Night stand in the master bedroom. When my mother went to get in her bed she pulled back the sheets to find blood on her pillow case. It had not been changed or washed. The pool was ice cold and after several called to Outerbanks Blue I was told they could not reach the pool vendor and had no idea when it could be fixed. We are on day three of our vacation and we have been stuck inside because restaurants aren’t open. We can’t swim and we had to clean the house ourselves. The home is beautiful. The owners have a gem on their hands but the realty management company did not clean the house or check that things were working properly. Nothing in the videos Tim Cafferty made about how they were going to clean was done at this house. I spoke to Shelley and Terry at Outerbanks Blue and they were rude and never once offered to accommodate us in anyway or make up for anything. I had to ASK for a refund of the money I paid for the pool and they offered me a prorated amount and stated they would try to get a hold of the vendor again but couldn’t make any promises. Terry, the customer service manager’s attitude was basically to pass the buck to the pool vendor and repeatedly state he couldn’t do anything about it. The bottom line is if your considering visiting this house bring your own cleaning supplies, and don’t pay for pool heat. Don’t expect good customer service and know that your concerns will fall on deaf ears. I honestly would not risk coming if your worried about getting sick because they don’t clean. I have spent hours on the phone trying to get things taken care of so my kids and family can enjoy their vacation. I will never again use Outerbanks Blue Realty No matter how nice the houses are the show. I have been to Outerbanks many times. Go with Sun realty or Carolina Reality. We have rented from both of them before and have been pleased with their service.

As usual, the service we received from Outer Banks Blue was great. The house was beautifully appointed and was equipted with everything we could possibly want or need. The only thing we did not like about the vacation was the beach. It had undergone restoration. The sand was deep and difficult to walk on. The natural sand bars were nonexistent making surfing impossible. We would love to rent the house again but won't because of the beach. On the positive side, We enjoyed the pier being so close.

Sea Song II was absolutely wonderful. It was very clean and had a kitchen that was furnished with everything you needed. We all enjoyed family gatherings at the huge dining table that sat 12. The walk to the beach was a short distance, and the kids enjoyed the fishing pier. I would definitely book this home again and recommend it to anyone, who was looking for a wonderful house in a great location at a reasonable price.

the trip it self was great. I wish we were told about the beach replenishment project before we booked. It really had a big effect on the clarity of the water.

Great house very clean . A person even cleaned our grills out for us! The pier across the street has a small bar, which was nice to sit at during the night to watch the moon on the water.

We have been going to Sea Song II since it was built. It's located off the street with a wonderful view of the ocean in the front. There is plenty of space for the kids to play on the lower level and for the adults to socialize on the main level. There is a pool, hot tub, movies, games, bumper pool table, wet bar and 2nd frig on the lower level. Easy walk across the street to the ocean and pier.

We visited South Nags Head and stayed in Sea Song II in august 2010. The house was absolutely beautiful and well equipped. We will be vacationing again next year in the Outer Banks and plan on staying in the same home.

The kitchen and dinning area were perfect for our family. The short walk to the beach for the little ones was good. The snake in the outside shower gave us all something to talk about back home.

The vacation was absolutely everything I had hoped it would be. The house was beautiful and everything the description said it would be. It was very clean. The location of the home was perfect..a short walk to the beach and in a quieter area. If you're looking for places to go within walking distance, this is not the home but to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is it. I truly loved it all, there is nothing I can say that I liked least.

The Sea Song provided our family with everything to make our stay perfect. The swimming pool, the space, close to the pier and beautiful view of the sunrise. We will be sure to rent again. Thanks for helping make special memories for our family.
