The amenities include ac/heat, a washer/dryer combo(not the easiest to use), and internet service. The internet service is good, not perfect, it can be sensitive to weather and trees growing and moving in the wind. A television is in the bedroom only with a Blu-ray for watching movies (There is no cable). The Blu-ray will allow you to connect to Netflix if you have an account. And, I have a drawer of movies available too.
There is a (propane only) fireplace that turns on/off with a remote. This may be used only during the winter months.
There is a no pet policy as well as no smoking policy. Propane is on premise.
Very Nature friendly area. You can feed deer, raccoons, birds, squirrels and there's even a little chipmunk. Purple, no hunting, zone!
Some History: The land that the cabin is built on has been in my family for generations. A little old white cabin used to sit near my new cabin that belonged to my great grandmother. Growing up in the valley and missing the presence of her cabin, motivated me and my husband to build. My parents live a stone throw from the cabin, so, it's a great place for us to take a break, relax and visit with family. We vacation throughout the year in our cabin and want to share our favorite getaway with you.

Guests must be over the age of 21 and is required to provide driver's licenses. No events or parties. There is a lease agreement that will be given to you upon booking a reservation. Cabin occupancy is two(2). No Smoking. No Pets.
There are outdoor security cameras.
The perfect place to unwind, catch up on your reading and be quiet. Bearadise Cabin is a beautiful, updated place to stay. Exceptionally clean and stocked with every thing you could need. Comfortable bed and furnishings, high end kitchen and lots of little extra touches provided. No TV and Wi-Fi that comes and goes, but that's what you need to get away from the world and relax. Quiet and it seems to be away from every thing, but it's not--only occasional road noise and nothing else. We'll plan to come back.

A true beauty
Everything about this cabin was perfect. It’s off the main road so you don’t hear traffic. It’s surrounded by woods so you feel like it’s isolated. I admired the way the cabin was laid out. The decorating is perfect. The floor to ceiling windows offer a stunning view. Large deck on two sides is where I spent many hours relaxing after the day rides. We’d definitely stay here again

Amazing cabin near Franklin NC
My wife and I had an amazing time here. Beautiful views and unbelievable mountain sunsets. Very close to everything from Franklin to Pigeon Forge and over to Asheville. Has everything you need other than food. Super clean, and very comfortable bed. Thanks for allowing us to use your little piece of heaven on earth!! We will most definitely be staying again! Thanks

Wonderful couple's retreat
Cabin is in like new condition with all the furnishings you could possibly need. The one floor plan with easy, level parking and cabin access makes it ideal for those like myself who dislike steep driveways and lots of steps to get in the house. The large deck is great for wildlife observation (we're birders). Location provides easy access to town and other attractions in the area. We would definitely rent this cabin again.

Life at Bearadise Cabin
Beautiful views, wild life at your fingertips, easy access, lovely cabin. The pictures do not lie, the cabin was the best. Very comfortable, cozy with all the comforts of home, modern, beautifully decorated. We definitely tell friends and family that it is worth the drive. We hope to stay again!!

Bird watching
If you love Wildlife, Birds,and deer every day on the property, if you love magnificent sunsets, peace and quiet, and extremely clean and beautiful and fantastic location this cabin is just outside of town but close to everything, all you need to bring is the food you want to eat there everything else is there. It was the best four days we've ever spent anywhere, we chose this by going on the internet and what incredibly great choice we made. We will definitely be back need to make this a traditional place to go to.

Better than hoped
I was skeptical about renting a cabin. This has become the best vacation my wife and I have had. The cabin is wonderful-a great view and plenty of space for two. We are already talking about when we can do e back.

Vacation at Beardise Cabin, Franklin, NC
The cabin was beautiful. It was well appointed & stocked very well with towels, linens, & cooking utensils. The kitchen was modern with new appliances, a very nice island. The bamboo floors were very beautiful & the ceiling to floor windows looking out onto the deck gave a great view to the mountains. My wife & I sat on the deck every morning drinking coffee & watching the mist rise from the mountains.
We have stayed at many cabins in different places in the NC mountains, & this cabin is by far the nicest & most beautiful one we have ever rented. I would heartily recommend the Beardise Cabin.

Mountain getaway
The cabin was perfect for the two of us. It was spacious, clean, and quiet. Beautiful view. The modern kitchen has all the amenities. The TV even has Netflix! We had a great time exploring Franklin, the waterfalls on 64, and Highlands.

A perfect vacation rental
Too often with these reviews high expectations are met with disappointing realities. That is NOT the case with this cabin. We arrived needing a quiet, care-free place to decompress for a long weekend...could not have made a better choice. I'll echo all the positives cited in earlier reviews; very clean, fully furnished, wonderfully decorated, fully stocked kitchen, private, easy access, etc. The owner was easy to deal with and accessible.
Bottom line: We absolutely will return!

Franklin NC is amazing. I will provide you with a brief email on things to do in the area. You can google the area as well. And, I have a book of activities with company flyers and information available for you. If you are a nature lover, Franklin IS the place for you. Many places to hike, beautiful waterfalls to see, tubing, white water rafting, zip lining, bluegrass, craft beer, beautiful local art, and good eats are all here.
Getting around
Google can take you anywhere you want to go. Franklin is a small town with minimum traffic. Therefore, it's easy to get around
