Interaction with guests:Â I am always available for anything you need! Call, text, or email during your stay! I am very familiar with the area and have hiked hundreds of miles, visited 500 waterfalls and dined all over these mountains and can direct you for whatever it is you are looking for! I am happy to be your remote guide!
When I first started looking for a place to stay in the mountains the necessities were seclusion, mountain views, hot tub and being pretty central to most of the attractions. Jills cabin nailed it, it's surrounded by trees, you can view the mountain from the wrap around porch and even from some of the windows, it had a hot tub and most attractions were no more than 45 minutes away. Jill was an amazing host, she sent us a welcome packet that provided us with a bunch of useful information and also suggestions about nearby attractions. The family had a great time and we would definitely book with her again! One last thing when you drive into Spruce Pine get the Excel gas, best gas I've ever bought in my life!!!!!

Perfect cabin for a family vacation with beautiful mountain view!
The cabin was the perfect size for us! Every amenity needed is there including a hot tub! Jill sends a TON of great info which greatly influenced the places we visited. Her instruction on how to get there and operate the cabin was very helpful. The cabin was clean and very tidy! Jill made the stay on Blue Ridge easy and worry free. I highly recommend her cabins for your stay in the mountains!

Springtime in heaven!
There is nothing better than experiencing springtime in the Blue Ridge Mountains and our stay at Mountain Dream Cabins made it all the more enjoyable! Cozy, clean and comfortable cabin nestled off the Blue Ridge Parkway. Easy access to many of the sites that this enchanting region of NC has to offer. A little bit of heaven that anyone can enjoy whether it be the multitude of hiking trails or a leisurely drive on the Blue Ridge Parkway. All capped by an evening on the deck or a soak in the hot tub. You won’t be disappointed!

Fantastic, owner thought of everything in this mountain get away!
We just had four wonderful days in this cabin. Great directions! Just off the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway.
This cabin had everything I have at home. Very clean too! We will be staying here again, for certain.

Just how we imagined a honeymoon in the mountains would be!
The cabin was cozy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Jill was very involved with our booking, she made every effort to make sure everything was perfect for our honeymoon. We enjoyed the fireplace at night and the hot tub was so relaxing. I highly recommend this cabin for a vacation.

Loved it
We spent Christmas at this lovely cabin. It was centrally located for easy day trips to Blowing Rock and Asheville. Jill was amazing with her welcome packet, tons of info on the area and places not to miss. It was so nice to come home to the hot tub each evening and open a bottle of wine purchased at local wineries. We slept like babies in the comfy beds. The cabin has a beautiful view of the Blue Ridge Mountains and it was so quiet and peaceful yet only minutes to town. Jill thought of everything from the decor to having everything you will need to prepare a meal. One thing we really appreciated was how clean it was, we have stayed in a lot of places and this cabin was spotless, the hot tub crystal clear. We feel we got a bargain and Jill answered texts within minutes during our stay. We can't wait to come back next summer! Thanks!

Pass this place by. Does not measure up to what is advertised
Very Sub Standard from their business practices all the way to how lame their attention to details that are lacking. Dirty soiled hot tub with no steps to get in our out. Definite Safety issue.
None of their pictures show a spiral stair case which is a hazard that they do not tell you about and makes staying here a HUGE chore for folks with orthopedic issues. Beds are very uncomfortable with old style spring mattresses. Cabin 1 lacks the needed privacy for making it feel secluded.
The fire pit they show is not even near either of their cabins it is one that is well below to a lower access road and you are near other cabins not related to this owner. Would not put 6 people in this style of cabin and as expected the fold out couch is not at all comfortable to sit on.
Sub Standard TV which is barely larger then a computer monitor if it is bigger at all. Woeful owner who took all fund for booking up front when the site shows a deposit only being needed and balance paid at checkout. Far too many negatives that will only make you regret ever considering this facility.

Unfortunately this guest was bitter from the get-go and did not book through Trip Advisor and tried to dispute all the credit card charges before the lock box code was given, to get a FREE stay. She had to meet us to pay cash to obtain a key as we would not accept a second credit card. She threatened us with a bad review if we did not refund all her money so here we it. She left a day early and never mentioned any of this during her stay. We are in the National Forest and the fire pit is in an open area that won't risk fire hazards that you can walk to in 300 steps. The mattresses have been improved with memory foam they are hotel style mattresses that are firm. We have never had a complaint about privacy, we tell folks if you want to skinny dip in the hot tub the only thing that will see you is the Bald Eagle that lives behind cabin 1. We have honemooners come back for anniversaries year after year and our reviews speak for themselves. The HDTV is perfect for the cozy size of the living room. No where in our rental agreement or on Trip Advisor does it say the balance is paid upon check out. This guest is bitter and again, tried to stay for free from the get go. We aim to exceed expectations and we do that 99 out of 100 times.

Already can't wait to return!
This was our best vacation yet! First off, Jill was absolutely amazing! I was so pleased with the copious amount of information she provided about the area. She provided information regarding hiking trails, restaurants, wineries and must see sites. Not being familiar with the area, this information was so valuable.
The cabin and area itself was nothing short of perfect. You are guaranteed to have some of the most amazing views while driving due to the cabin being located off of the Blue Ridge Parkway. The cabin was secluded with it’s own beautiful views of the mountains, especially from the hot tub. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds were comfortable, and you instantly felt at home. You can tell that Jill strives to have her guests feel at home by the decor and small touches she has added.
My husband and I are already planning our next trip back to the mountains and cannot wait to rent this cabin again!

It doesn't get any better than this.
Had a great time. Cabin was located near many points of interest and for those who like to hike trails there are literally hundreds close by; some start right near the cabin and follow streams to water falls. Cabin amenities were numerous with 2 bedrooms and baths, hot tub on porch, full kitchen (great ice cube trays) TV with more channels
than you could possibly watch (but save them for a rainy day of lazy evening) and get outside instead. You are in the very heart of the mountains so go and enjoy them.
Jill with her attention to detail and copious local knowledge and her cabin really do try to make your stay a memorable experence! We stayed 10 days and really wish it could have been 20!!!!!

We are centrally located, nature and activities in all directions. Surrounded by mountains and over 100 waterfalls. Walk to 5 from our porch! Restaurants and shopping close by yet when on our porch you feel like you're lost in time. Located between Boone & Asheville on The Blue Ridge Parkway near Linville Falls just south of Grandfather Mountain and Blowing Rock on The Blue Ridge Parkway. Call me for accurate quotes and accurate availability. We advertise on over 15 sites and our own calendar is always up to date.
Getting around
You will need a car to get to the cabin,l but if you bring food, you can bunker in and find plenty to do within hikes! The neighboring community even sells firewood, allows you to rent golf carts and has a little store for your convenience :)Don't forget your 4WD and mittens when visiting anywhere in the mountains of NC during winter months, not just my cabin. If you don't have 4WD, chains are about $50 you can purchase and return if you don't use them, I use them on my VW Jetta as I do not have 4WD and they take me through snow no problem.
