Step out onto the spacious wrap-around deck furnished with a dining table and Adirondacks and enjoy the awe-inspiring mountain views. A gas grill is positioned just off the deck. The lower level contains a second living area with 42-Inch Flat Panel cable TV, a deck with a wonderful hot tub and great views, a bedroom with a King bed and separate entrance to the deck, a bedroom with 2 twin beds, and a shared full bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with tiled shower between the bedrooms. Whether you're coming for an ASU football game, outdoor activities, a family vacation, or just to get away from it all, Amazing View is convenient to it all High Country shops. The Story Behind the Name I grew up in Virginia, among the expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.   Actually, I thought everyone looked out their bedroom window across a sea of blue and purple ridges we called mountains. Then I married my husband and spent fifteen years in the plains of the mid-west. It's been such a mercy to come home to the mountains, this time in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.   When we found this property it was hemmed in by trees.   No one quite knew what view of the mountains lay hidden behind.  Being such mountain lovers ourselves, we take great pleasure in offering you a 180 degree view of the Blue Ridge.  On a clear day you can count 13 ridges, clear up the New River Valley.   As the sun sets, you can watch the light play off these beautiful, ancient mountains--a view that can take your breath away.   You can see the skiers come down Appalachian Ski Mountain out the dining room window in the winter.  The name, 1 Amazing View, truly fits this home.  After you've enjoyed all that Blowing Rock has to offer, 1 Amazing View is a home where you can sit on the porch and drink in scenery that restores the soul.   - Stacy & Paula, homeowners  Looking to stay longer during a quieter time of year? Stays of 5 or 6 nights outside of summer, fall, and holiday dates automatically receive 10% off posted rates! Additional Notes: - Firewood may be purchased at the time of booking or with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax per night.  - Returning guests of 1 Amazing View may receive a 5% discount off the rent for stays longer than 21 nights. - PET FEE: $25 PER NIGHT, MAX 1 DOG. HYPO-ALLERGENIC DOGS 20LB AND UNDER ONLY PLEASE - The driveway is plowed in winter, but 4WD or AWD vehicles are required November-March, and chains may also be necessary to access the all properties in winter months. We are happy to help you find the home with the access you are most comfortable with, any time of year! - CANCELLATION POLICY - Bookings canceled 30+ days before arrival will receive a refund of the deposit. Bookings canceled between 15-29 days before arrival will receive a refund of half of he deposit. Bookings canceled within 14 days of arrival are not entitled to a refund unless the reservation dates are rebooked to another guest. All bookings are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Amazing view, wonderful place
Stayed 2 weeks. View was spectacular as advertised. House was very comfortable and well equipped. Will stay there again.

What a beautiful and relaxing place to stay! Would recommend to friends. It is like being at home. It is very warm and inviting! Has everything you need.

Comfortable Enough and Convenient
While this was not a dream getaway, it was very comfortable, had everything we needed, and was in a very convenient location. If proximity to Blowing Rock is important, this is a good stay. Not luxurious, but perfectly adequate in every way.
