About the neighborhood
Mumbles is located at Mumballup in the Preston Valley, a narrow ribbon of farmland following the course of the Preston River through the jarrah forests of the south west of Western Australia. At Mumballup, the valley is only a kilometre wide and used mainly for grazing sheep and cattle, with some stonefruit orchards and olive groves. Getting around
The local bush is laced with walking trails including the Bibbulmun Track; we also have a friendly local pub a short walk away which serves good meals. Within 30 minutes drive are four towns for shopping and dining options, several wineries and of course, beautiful South-West scenery.
