Fantastic holiday home, with absolutely everything you need for the perfect stay! Beautiful big verandah to watch the morning mist and evening sunset, then indoors to a roaring log fire...bliss! (And the alpacas are a bonus!) Highly recommend, we will definitely be back.

Only a few minutes drive from Balingup, part of the Blackwood River Valley, there are specialty shops, local vineyards, a lavender oil farm, restaurants (offering Paleo, Organic, Vegan, and other family meals), and the famous Bibbulmun Track nearby.

Try the Golden Valley Tree Park, or the historic Greenbushes mining town with a natural outdoor swimming pool. Take a leisurely drive to Bridgetown 20 mins away, or further afield to Margaret River, Manjimup and Busselton all within an hour.

Balingup is 237km South of Perth, 2.5 hours drive, just far enough to know that you have gone somewhere special...

Most guests drive down, we are just outside Balingup. We will provide detailed directions before your stay.

There is a train option from Perth to Bunbury, and a coach service to Balingup, takes about 4-5 hours in all. If this is of interest, let us know so we can arrange a pick-up on your arrival etc...
