Got delayed in posting my review. James is an absolute joy to deal with. He is prompt and absolutely reliable. Martha next door does and incredible job in caring for the place and making sure that you have all that you need (including advice). The house is close to supermarkets and really close to everything we head for. Our home away on vacation. See my previous review in 2018 for all of the details. Quiet neighborhood, great wifi, everything you need is provided for a great stay.

Exceeded every expectations! You can see from hundreds of reviews that I have submitted that I will tell you like it is in my reviews. I have so many good things to say about this house, the owner, the neighbor (home keeper) and the neighborhood that I am not sure I can get it all in here. So let me start here. The booking process through Trip advisor was flawless. The communication from James J. was immediate, timely, detailed. The check in process was very quick. Martha (from next door) knew we were coming and took us through a brief explanation of where things were and then left us to ourselves to live for the week. She lives right across and was available for questions but we had our privacy. The neighborhood is very quiet. The Neighbors are mostly people who live here on a regular basis. The house was meticulously clean. The check out process was extremely simple. The rates are extremely good for the level of amenities provided. And you have your own little Aruban villa, at least for a little bit! The property has wonderful plants in the well cared for courtyard. Outside places to sit and read. There is a nice car port with a gate. The main floor rooms are all air conditioned, upstairs is not. The kitchen is extremely well equipped. The linens and towels are all provided. There is a washing machine and clothes lines for laundry (everything dries in a few hours). If you want to read or play games the home has games and books. I have not stayed in any rental in the US that was this well-equipped with all that you need. The grocery stores are nearby. If you want imported foods Superfoods and Ling & sons IGA are good. You will pay premium for groceries at these two stores. If local fresh food and regular groceries (with a few imports) is your thing Save More is only a few minutes up Rt 2. There are also several smaller Chinese supermarkets all around that have a very good selection of items if you only need one or two things. The popular beaches are all a very short drive from the house. The city is not far. Nothing is really very far from the location of the home. Tourist sites and shopping are also very easy to get to from the house. We always rent a vehicle with a four-wheel drive and high clearance. This makes it easy to go almost everywhere on the island. I will go back here again and would recommend this place to anyone. We loved our week here at the house, it made it so nice to come "home" after a long day of fun outside.

We had a bit of difficulty finding the home upon arrival,but once we final got there we were definitely pleased. The housekeeper, Martha, was there to greet us. She gave us a tour of the home, and let us know to contact her if we had any questions or needed anything. The home has everything necessary for a comfortable stay. The only things we needed was groceries,and there are a couple of great options very near the home. Having a car is also necessary to get around the island. Great beaches and restaurants are all just a short car ride away. We would definitely stay here again.

The house is ok, with all the facilities. A car is necessary indeed to access to the beaches and the other interest points of Aruba.

This villa was perfect for our needs!!! So cute and convenient to access the whole island with just a rental car. Plus having your own rented villa feels like you're home and renting a car makes it so easy to get up and go wherever and whenever you want. I couldn't imagine ever booking a hotel room when a place like this is available to rent for a fraction of the price. I'm booking this same villa for our next trip.

This was my first trip to Aruba and I have to say I will do it exactly the same way on my next visit! The villa is beautiful. Super clean, and easy to access. Plenty of room for our party. I wish hotels were as nice as this! Can't say enough about what an amazing adventure this was!!!

This is a great house with tons of room. Two bedrooms with king-size beds plus an upstairs room perfect for kids. The patio is great to hang out on for morning coffee and late night drinks. The house is very clean with nice furnishing.

We highly recommend staying at this Villa in Aruba. We found the Villa to be very nice - it was clean and had everything we needed. The owners are great to work with and very accommodating. Martha, the housekeeper who lives across the street and her husband were great too - very helpful and friendly. The size of the house was great for our group and we had the maximum number of people allowed - never felt crowded - 2 bathrooms with showers was nice to have. The air conditioners and fans worked great to keep the house temperature comfortable. During our stay, we spent most of our time at the beach or exploring the island. We made breakfast at the house each morning - kitchen was well equipped - and then packed up and left for the day, returned to shower and left again for dinner - restaurants we ate at were fabulous - we got recommendations from the house guest book and Island Locals. We watched beautiful sunsets on the beach, gambled at some very nice hotels and did some shopping too. We did spend some time on the Villa patio in the morning - drinking coffee and eating breakfast - very nice outdoor space. Also grilled out one evening and sat out by the outdoor table later at night with no problems. The property is gated and in a safe neighborhood - always felt safe on the Island. Staying at the Villa helped make our vacation more affordable for our group - we spent a lot of time by the hotel high rises - enjoyed the properties but did not pay top dollar to be hanging out there. The money we saved on housing we spent doing fun things on the island. We also rented a Van - worked out great - no issues. The Villa also had snorkeling gear we were able to use - we snorkeled at Baby Beach - it was awesome. We also rented ATV's and a UTV for 8 hours and explored the Island - it was a great way to see the island and a lot of fun. Weather in Aruba was great too and everyone we encountered was happy and friendly. Our group had a great vacation and highly recommend staying at the Aruban Tropical Villa in Punto de Oro.
