The Hamilton is a room in a 1890's Catskill's village boarding house. Downstairs is a coffee shop space, perfect for relaxing and would make an ideal rehearsal space for musicians, a large porch and a shared half-bath. Upstairs are two other guest rooms in addition to the Hamilton, a sitting room and a shared full bath. Located in Stamford, NY the Kaaterskill House is currently being renovated but we invite you to stay with us at a reduced rate while work continues.

Nice and peace
Great relax and Owen is awesome. Great coffee. Very quiet and clean room. Luckily we didn’t have any roommates to share with the house. We could have set up a gas or grill outside to cook. Next time!

About the neighborhood
Stamford is surrounded by miles of trails perfect for walking, hiking and biking. Along with a 40 mile rail-trail. We also have Mt. Utsayantha with its lovely park at the summit that you can drive to at 3,214'. At the top is a fire tower you can climb and look out over 8 states. Moy Marion is in easy walking distance from the grocery store, a local produce market, three restaurants and the thrift store.

You will be able to get to a lot of interesting and useful destinations by foot. There are also a lot of fascinating destinations within an easy drive. We will be happy to give you all of the travel information you will need.
