The cabin rate is kept on the low side because it is a housekeeping cabin - there is no maid service and guests bring their own linens.
CABIN DETAILS
The Convenient Kitchen has a door which leads to the outdoor deck with picnic table. The kitchen is fully equipped with a stove/oven, refrigerator, coffeemaker, toaster, sink, cooking utensils, flatware and dishes (service for 9).
The Living Room has two picture windows facing the front of the cabin with a futon, electric monitor heater, wood burning stove, dresser and view of the water. The adjoining dining area has a large table with chairs.
The Two Bedrooms and Loft the bedrooms have a double bed and the loft is a platform with two double mattresses. All beds have mattress covers and pillows (you'll need to bring your own linens, blankets & towels).
The Bathroom has a toilet, sink and shower stall. This Adirondack cabin also has an outhouse that can be used as a 'second bathroom'.
LINENS, CLEANING, ETC
Camp Anne is a housekeeping cabin rental which means there is no maid service and guests must leave the cabin as they found it, otherwise the security deposit will be forfeited.. Guests bring their own linens, towels, blankets, etc.
Located among the Kiwassa maples on Lake Kiwassa and Kiwassa Outlet, is just three miles from the Village of Saranac Lake in the Adirondack Mountains. 10 miles away is the Olympic Village of Lake Placid where an Ironman race is hosted every summer as well as several sporting events year-round. Cabin is part of Cochran's Cabins which offers Adirondack cabin rentals and has been in operation for over 20 years. Cochran's are members of the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce and the Lake Placid Visitor's Bureau. Prior to the Cochran's taking over in 1992, the property was run as 'Paul's Camps' by the Matthew family. The names of the cabins have family meaning - either to the Matthew family or now to Cochrans.
