In the Heart of Oia, seconds away from the bus terminal of Oia, you will find this fully renovated house. The famous Caldera of Oia, it is 150 meters away (3 mins walk) and the sunset point of view is 500 meters (6 mins walk). While being in the very center of Oia, you will find it peacefull as it is one street back from the central square, in a quiet neighborhood next to a grocery shop and awarded restaurants.

The private house in the Heart of Oia is just 17 kilometers from the Airport and about 20 from the main port. During summer, almost every 20 minutes you will find the local bus in order to reach Fira town (capital city) and from there you could take another bus to all the famous beaches (Kamari, Perissa, Red Beach). If you are planning to rent a car, please note that the free parking could be a little bit challenging, like in the rest of Santorini, especially during the sunset time. But there are parking lots that you could pay about 4-5 walking distance from the house.

Our house is just next door and if we are not there, we will always support via messages or calls.
Santorini è stupenda, Oia è carinissima e George e Katerina sono semplicemente i migliori hosts che io abbia mai incontrato. La casa è accessoriata con tutto quello che potrebbe servire (condizionatore, prodotti da bagno, netflix, utensili da cucina, etc.), l’ingresso privato è carinissimo e molto ben curato, la posizione è ottima perchè vicinissima alla fermata degli autobus e anche ai punti principali dove ammirare il panorama e il tramonto, ma allo stesso tempo non nel pieno caos turistico. George e Katerina ci hanno gentilmente offerto una bottiglia di vino e si sono presi costantemente cura di ogni nostra esigenza, inclusi i transfers privati per andare a casa e per tornare all’aeroporto. Inoltre a pochi giorni dal pernottamento, il mio volo era stato posticipato e mi sono trovato nella situazione di dover pagare una notte inutilmente, George invece si è impegnato per modificare la prenotazione ed evitare di addebitarci il giorno perso.

Hospitality at its Best!!!
This accommodation is one of the best I have stayed in. It is located in the middle of Oia and within less than a minute you can go to the bus station or to a restaurant or to walk in the pedestrian street of Oia where you can see the caldera.
It is newly refurbished and decorated so nicely that it feels like home.
Our hosts, Katerina and George, made our stay even better as they were always available to reach and they provided us with information of the island and things to do which saved us time and definitely turned our experience even more relaxing.
I recommend the Heart of Oia for to anyone wishing to visit Santorini and stay in Oia.

About the neighborhood
Location, location, location. Our house is all about location. It is literally in the Heart Of Oia, seconds away from the central bus station of Oia, 2 minutes away from the famous Caldera and 6 minutes away from the Sunset point of view. Our neighborhood is alive. There 2 economy restaurants across the house with their famous plate of Greece: 'Gyros' and a fine dining restaurant named 'Fino' is a second away. You will find also a grocery store, 2 cafe's Atm's, of course, the main bus terminal of Oia with local buses and taxis.
Getting around
The main bus terminal of Oia is 50 meters away. You could catch the local bus, to go to the capital city of Santorini and from there to take another bus to reach all the other villages of Santorini like Pyrgos, Kamari, Perissa, Red Beach, Akrotiri.
Very close to the house you will find 2 rent a car places, where you could rent a car or an Atv. However, the free parking area, especially during the sunset time, is quite difficult. But do not worry there is a big parking lot that you could pay about 14 euros and leave your car there. This parking is about 6 minutes away from the house.

Our house is 17 kilometers from the airport of Santorini and 20 from the main port of Santorini. The cost of a shuttle bus for 2 people is 40 euros. You could also use the local busses, that especially during the high season, are very frequent.
