We stayed at the Elea Casa in early Oct. of 2017 and were disappointed by the apartment. It's a new build and everything is new and shiny. But it's like a showroom apartment where everything looks good and very little works. The hot tub would never get hot and would run constantly (no way to turn it off). The lock on the front door spun around and attempts to lock and unlock the door were frustrating. The sliding closet doors were constantly coming off the tracks. Most annoying of all is that we didn't have water in the mornings. Not even a trickle. We were never able to take a shower before ten at night. I called the manager about it and he said that there was probably a problem with the water. No kidding. The no water problem, so far as I could tell, was a continuing problem with this unit. When we arranged to rent the unit, we did so because of the view in the photo that the Elea uses. Keep in mind, this unit is not cheap but I figured the view would be worth it. As it turns out, this isn't exactly the view that it has. Yes, you can see the view in the photo, but that's an angled view. The view straight out is of a two story building that completely blocks the view of the caldera. Worse, the top floor of the building is a taverna that looks directly onto the small patio and hot tub, the bedroom and the living room. The photo was a con. Would I recommend the place. No. I'm not interested in living in a show room where things look good and nothing much works. But if you're looking for a grand view, this place isn't it.

Ho soggiornato in questo appartamento, situato in pieno centro ad Oia, ad agosto..e nonostante il periodo scelto, la mia si è rivelata una vacanza di pieno relax. La casa, che affaccia sulla strada principale pedonale, con un meraviglioso terrazzino fornito di jacuzzi e panorama mozzafiato, è silenziosa, intima, totalmente nuova e ben curata. Non manca di nulla ed è il connubio perfetto tra comodità ed esclusivismo. Nonostante sia un appartamento, è previsto il servizio in camera con premurosa cura della jacuzzi ed il resto degli ambienti. Consiglio vivamente per una romantica ed indimenticabile vacanza!

We recently stayed here for 3 nights, situated high up and up a lot of steps this was perfect for us. Just big enough for a couple in our opinion. The bed is one of the comfiest ever in Greece, the patio doors open from the lounge and the bedroom onto the balcony where we spent a lot of time enjoying the amazing views from the lovely hot tub. There are two balconies, the one at the front which as a tip for the owner could have done with a couple of sun loungers, it was certainly big enough and enjoyed views over a very popular small church and garden. Being new again as a polite tip for the owner, the kitchen could have done with a kettle, sharp knife and fish slice, these were little things that didn't spoil our enjoyment. Very welcoming and helpful owner. We initially went to the Elea hotel by mistake and they gave us a drink and arranged for the owner to meet us, it would be difficult to find on your own as you can't park near it. Definitely recommend for privacy and beautiful views. It is centrally situated for the gorgeous streets of Oia. Not suitable for the less able or young children in our opinion.

This place was very clean and nice. However it is a lot smaller than the pictures lead on. They assured us before arriving that it could sleep four guests. Once we got there, my friends and I noticed that there was one bed, a sofa bed, and a cot. With four people the place felt very crowded. The views were of course amazing and the hot tub was clean and enjoyable.
