Zion House is such a pretty, peaceful, airy home!
We enjoyed being in the house. In the mornings, we sat on the round balcony overlooking the pond and watched the monkeys. We saw half a dozen one morning; two with babies clinging to their undersides.
Other points of note about Zion House:
• It is in the quiet, southeast, so it feels more local and authentic.
• Close to the airport; great if your party isn’t all arriving on the same flight.
• Access to the beautiful beaches of the east coast: Foul Bay, Crane, Bathsheba.
• The house is unique, attractively designed; plus we got to meet the architect who lives next door.
• Comfortable beds: we appreciated the quality mattresses and the mosquito netting.
• The house is green: no a/c or ceiling fans. The solar-heated water was plentiful. There is a washing machine and a covered clothes line. There are recycling bins and a compost box.
• The kitchen is well-equipped; we prepared many of our own meals from local produce.
• For nice meals out there are places a 20 minute drive or less away: the Crane Resort for Sunday buffet, Oistins for fish fry, and St Lawerence Gap for cocktails and fun.
